Oh yeah, the profiles of Rash and Zitz are reversed: It's also worth mentioning that the Shadow Boss from Battletoads & Double Dragon is a made-up villain for that game.

I assumed Rare just picked him from somewhere deeper in the series since I'm only really familiar with the NES games. It's probably worth a parenthetical aside to note this, thanks!
As for the Rash/Zitz profiles, my descriptions are accurate. I claim that Rash can be perceived as the Battletoads' leader and that Zitz is only revealed to be the leader in his arcade profile, which is the last and most obscure part of the franchise. If one had only played the previous games (which due to their greater availability is probably likely), there is absolutely nothing in-game or printed in the manuals to suggest to them that Zitz is the leader or that Rash is not.
But these are not games notable for their deep characterizations and my TMNT comparisons are appropriately loose.

In fact, if you're a Double Dragon fan you'll notice that the creators of this game didn't really knew the Double Dragon license, or that they just played the first stage of the first game and drew material from that. Like, they got Machine Gun Willy name wrong (he's named Roper for whatever reason) and aside from the Williams lookalikes on second stage and Linda on the third there's practically nothing from Double Dragon on this title. If I'm not mistaken they only got the DD license because Tradewest had publishing rights at that time (Technos more or less sold the DD license to whoever threw money at them).

Shadow Boss was also the monicker Jimmy Lee took in the NES version of Double Dragon, as his role in that game was that of the final boss. You see, the game's title kinda implies both brothers being in the game, right? But the NES version didn't have a proper 2 player mode, so that might have seemed a little odd. To make a hero of the game a villain was still a weird move. Some Double Dragon Wiki I just googled, which lists both "incarnations" of the name.
