We actually have a board for that thing. hg101.proboards.com/board/2/emulation But also, I'm not very sure we give those out. I don't think so, but as the MSX isn't making money you might get lucky and have somebody point you in the right direction. But yeah, don't get your hopes up? And well welcome if you plan on staying.

Is there an archive of Japanese MSX tapes anywhere? They'd probably be in there. I'd recommend asking at some of the MSX forums.

In fact, lots of dumps of Japanese MSX software that released on tape can't be found. Almost all the dumps of education software on MSX is not avalible. Here is the list of games that I'm looking for: Oceanus (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=47) Daidassou (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=779) Bang!Bang! (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=600) Maru De Songokuu (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=658) Pengin Date (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=309) 007 A View To Kill (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=370) Nikonikopun (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=249) The Pyramid (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=62) Nikonikopun What Is It (www.generation-msx.nl/software/land-computer/nikonikopun-what-is-it/release/247/) Nick Neeker (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=250) Gaia (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=727) Katori Senso (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=1600) Byebye Jupiter (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=166) Tape Login MSX Game Book (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=1757) Chitei Tanken (http://msx.jpn.org/tagoo/s_check.cgi?LINE=788) The screenshots show they must be emulated.Maybe the administrator of msx.jpn.org is the only owner.

You know what, I actually have a copy of Chitei Tanken on cassette, thanks to the Yoshifuji family. I promised to convert it to .cas format a long time ago, but only now managed to do it successfully. Here you go, as well: www.sendspace.com/file/zqe7rxYou need to have the shift key pressed down when booting the MSX. Otherwise the game won't launch.

You know it would be great if a mod could move this thread to the appropriate section.

You know it would be great if a mod could move this thread to the appropriate section. Well, maybe I shouldn't be doing these things when I'm tired, because I just somehow came to the conclusion that this thread was the right place for those posts. Um...bear with me, I'll split it back out. [edit] Actually, um, maybe I shouldn't have done anything to it, because I could swear General was where the posts needed to be in the first place? Rey, where did you think they needed to be?

Rey, where did you think they needed to be? Well, the original thread was about where to find roms, so it should be in the emulation subforum where rom related threads are taken care of. Klaid mentioned it on the first post, but the thread was never moved. Just in case, when I posted that reply, the thread was not merged with the "trying to remember that game" thread. It was in the general forum. And I don't know who moved it or why was that thread merged with this one since the thread was not about trying to remember a game

I just hope OP knows where to find it now. =P
