This is rather irritating; the only way I seem to be able to take screenshots with this emulator is by pausing the emulation, then going into the menu and selecting the option to take a screenshot. It's clunky and takes a lot of time and is definitely not ideal. Every FAQ I read online says that F12 takes screenshots, but it's just not doing so for me. I don't know why. Did they remove this ability from the latest version or something, for some reason? Also this emulator keeps on dropping frames fairly consistently, which is annoying. I wish it would run at a steady 60FPS bah

I just tested it in version r1507 and it works fine. Maybe someone broke the screenshot key in the revision you have? I had a problem like that with PPSSPP once.
As for the frames dropping, you should go into Options -> Video -> Render API and check VSync and Triple Buffering.

Check in your Joypad settings; I seem to recall that, for some reason, the Capture button can be redefined in there.

Thanks guys; I checked the Joypad settings, and in the Special tab, it turned out that the screenshot key was mapped to F11 for whatever reason, instead of F12. I switched it over and now I can take screenshots easily, thankfully I'm still figuring out what to do on the framerate side of things; I'll post again if I have more to say.

There should be an option to set the base frameskip down to zero and/or force disable it. Have a look in the settings. Some games are also better than others; I recently replayed both Harmony of Dissonance and Mega Man Zero; Zero was great, but Harmony ran a bit slow in spots. That game seemed to be a bit of an outlier for me.
Also, if you have more than 6 buttons on your gamepad, I recommend just putting the screenshot button ON the gamepad. Saves you reaching over if you want a picture of something.
