I wish MST3K was still streaming on Netflix. It's a great one to just have on.

There has been a ton of cooking shows vomited up onto Netflix lately, so I've been watching Kitchen Nightmares, Cutthroat Kitchen (love Alton Brown on this show), and Chopped.

Catching up on sitcoms. Mike & Molly, Big Bang Theory, Moms, and The Goldbergs. Also, catching a bit of Monster Rancher here and there. Was watching the occasional Bleach episode with my brother, but that first filler arc about the vampires killed any interest he had in continuing.

Daredevil is a really good show. This. Darevedil is without a doubt one of the best superhero TV shows ever made and one of the most awesome thing who came out from the DCU, and Vincent D'Onofrio's perfomance as Kingpin is simply stunning. Oh, and currently I'm catching up on Orphan Black.

The finale of Kill la Kill was pretty awesome.

Bump.
Anyone seen Mr. Robot? It's the first non-comedy series in a loooong time I've been enthusiastic about. Really, really good show.
The season finale was kinda weird though.

Haven't gotten around to that one yet. Heard good things.
I started watching the first season of American Horror Story recently.

Oh man, I love American Horror Story so much. Especially Asylum, the second season, it is just so crazy and over the top and gives no shits, it is amazing.
Uh, yeah, that's mostly what I watch: Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, and Modern Family. I also really liked the first season on Fargo, so I have to check out the second one soon I guess. Also wanted to start True Detective and How to get Away with Murder eventually, but that didn't happen yet.

We're really looking forward to Asylum next. I saw an episode or two of Coven when it was on but found that one to be pretty boring.

Anyone watching Rick and Morty?
Season two started insanely strong, but it's been kind of okay for the past few episodes. Revisiting the improvised TV segments idea wasn't as exciting as it was the first time, and tiny Rick felt kind of unfinished (though that ending gag with the vampires was amazing). I'm not sure how they're going to top Mr. Poopybutthole and Unity.

Bump. Anyone seen Mr. Robot? It's the first non-comedy series in a loooong time I've been enthusiastic about. Really, really good show. The season finale was kinda weird though. Mr. Robot is fantastic. It made me such a fan of Rami Malek (the male lead), that I have gotten interested in Until Dawn, just because he's in it. I have seen all of the seasons of American Horror Story. Asylum is my favorite, but Coven sucks ass. I hated that season so, so much. Such a nasty, bitchy atmosphere most of the time, that I'd argue it borders on unfortunate implications. If you want to see a horror show about witches, I beg you to watch Salem instead. I never thought I'd say that, but the second season of that show is much better than the first. Plus, it has Lucy Lawless.

Anyone watching Rick and Morty? I've been meaning to. It's one of those series that's sitting there on my PC unwatched for a while. I'm a big fan of Community, so I don't know why I haven't watched it yet.

When it comes to Amercian Horror Story, I kinda just go with the flow. It's just so gloriously stupid and over the top and forcefully edgy and exploitation horror-ish, taking this seriously is a lost cause, but it's just such a cool and entertaining and stylish ride. Also: Jessica Lange (and later Kathy Bates). I do agree that Coven and Freak Show aren't as great as Asylum, it never quite got that deliciously mental again, especially Freak Show is probably hold back by, you know, it can't be too cruel because that easily can turn into mean spiritness towards the mentaly and physically handicapped.
I also forgot a show or three. I do watch Shameless and Sherlock, too, just a bit less regularly early. And my guilty pleasures are Project Runway and RuPaul's Drag Race, again being kinda not up to date there though. I would include Glee, because damn do I love silly musical stuff, but even that got too damn idiotic and badly written for me to stand more of.
Supernatural is a show I always think I would like, because as a kid I loved watching Buffy and X-Files and this looks kind of like a middle ground in there somewhere, but by now it has so many seasons that I always put it off, which doesn't help, because it just means it's gonna have even more seasons when I re-consider it the next time.

I am looking forward to AHS Hotel too. I think it's a great setting for stories like this. I hope it delivers.
I missed the season opener last night, but I really enjoyed Last Man on Earth.

I'm a big fan of Community, so I don't know why I haven't watched it yet. Season two has been mostly fantastic so far, outside two slow episodes. The Purge episode is particularly surprising, sounded generic in premise, the execution is amazing. Best episode was probably the one with the alien parasites or the one with Unity. The ending of that one gets insanely real and soul crushing in a way I wasn't expecting, even for this show. And this was a jam.
