No Matt Mercer and Alyson Court. But the graphics look incredible.

But the graphics look incredible. It's hard to separate Claire from a J.Lo, yeah..

No Matt Mercer and Alyson Court. But the graphics look incredible. Yeah, that's a disappointment :/ All in all though, I'm curious to see how this turns out. Resident Evil 7 was a return to form as far as I'm concerned, so I think Capcom can potentially do a REmake 2 justice. I'm curious whether it'll be in first-person or third-person though... or maybe with fixed camera angles, lol (though the latter is unlikely, sadly).

Guys from www.re4hd.com just rolled out a trailer a few days ago. I'll surely give it a shot while waiting for RE 2.

Any chance for a Switch port for RE2? Also, is the RE4 HD Project some kind of fan game?

Any chance for a Switch port for RE2? Also, is the RE4 HD Project some kind of fan game? Resident Evil 4 got an "HD" release on Steam a few years back, but it changed maybe like five textures and left the majority of the game in its standard SD state. This fan project seeks to replace everything in the game with HD assets, often going as far as finding the actual IRL locations that certain textures were based on (like old Spanish castle walls/stairs and whatnot), and creating their own high-resolution textures based on that. It's one of the most ambitious fan-projects I've ever seen, and the team behind it deserve serious praise for going to such lengths to make the HD remake Capcom themselves were unable to do.

Is it weird that I'm looking forward to seeing more of Marvin? I don't know who the actor portraying him is, but he is selling the hell out of his scenes. It's remarkable for a series that had some of the best worst acting ever once.

Any chance for a Switch port for RE2? Also, is the RE4 HD Project some kind of fan game? Not likely since Capcom couldn't even manage to port RE7 (they're trying a "cloud version") which doesn't bode well for the Switch's power, I mean RE7 looks good but if the Switch can't handle it? Wellllllll.... Any chance for a Switch port for RE2? Also, is the RE4 HD Project some kind of fan game? When I played the "HD" version of RE4 in 2014 I was way disappointed in the graphics, they've aged pretty poorly, more so than many 6th gen titles. So that true HD fan project sounds great.

Whoever came up with this design deserves an award. I've never seen such a lifeless and at the same time so a full of angst and suffering eyes in a video game in a long time.

I'm not sure how I feel about Mr. X wearing a hat. It feels strange. He looks like Freddy Kreuger.

You know what I would love to see is a reboot of Haunting Ground done with the RE engine.

I love me some Resident Evil. I've played them all, more or less. Not the Game.com abomination, not RE6. But everything else, from 1-5 to Dead Aim. My favorites are 1-4 and Code Veronica obviously, although I like the fixed-angle ones the most, RE4 was such an awesome thrill-ride I couldn't turn away from, I've played it through more than 12 times, BUT! On the Wii, the best version! Even RE5 was tolerable with motion controls. Can't wait to play Revelations 1 and 2 on Switch.
