Hard to choose a particular one (I have a lot of styles I like), but I really adore presentation of things like Danganronpa and Persona - stylish menus, bright visual presentation, catchy and jazzy soundtrack, and it never ever looks boring.
Also, Japanese rhythm games, be it Beatmania, DJ Max or Superbeat: Xonic - the kind of presentation that does its best to be bold and "in-your-face" while still remaining very practical and easy to navigate.

I seem to like late 80s to whole 2000s eras of arcade platform games, as well as Sharp X68000 games.
One throwback contemporary example is Battle Crust for Steam.
I also find only moderately lesser-known manga/anime style games, but not licensed ones based on actual ones much.

Maybe iam not played too much Shenmue and Yakuza games. But games for me had big plus. They much very close to real life. You got small part of city/town filled with shops, vegetables stands, and other services and its up to you did wanna come closer and purchase anything you like. Sure GTA style games had same thing but you cant purchase pointless misc items.
While playing Shenmue ive enjoyed purchasing and collecting Gashpons. because reminds me as kid im become collector of Pokemon cards.

I dunno, it's just striking and somehow has a stronger presence than a lot of later 3D games. Music fits perfectly too.

That looks (and sounds) amazing. Could totally be some modern indie darling if it was released today
