I always thought the SNES JP had a ton of great ideas that suffered from mediocre execution. It's certainly not something I'd wanna play in its ORIGINAL form nowadays, but it has that mysterious vibe to it that "anything goes", exactly BECAUSE it can be so weird in its execution at times, so it's perfect for Youtube.
I can't think of a better Ocean game, too. Which is not saying MUCH, but let's put it this way: If the game was attached to a franchise I actually was a fan of (say, Lethal Weapon), I'd certainly have completed it.

I completely agree about the second Bunker level in Goldeneye. That shit is terrible. The levels in the game where getting spotted sends literal hordes of guards at you without respite, are one of the worst things about the game, and I think keep it from being as fun as it otherwise could have been.

I also wanted to ask: Is it appropriate to nominate games like Demonophobia or Corpse Party? On one side, they really make for an interesting topic of discussion, with one being anonymously made cult hit, and the other as possibly the first attempt at making horror game entirely in RPG Maker, but on the other, they have lots of incredibly graphic gore (and not in an "over-the-top" way, but in a really nasty and horrifying one) and sometimes rather questionable content (there's some underage nudity in Demonophobia and kids dying horribly in Corpse Party).

Regarding JP, you guys were lucky. I ended up getting the dos version as a kid thanks to these fake screenshots on the back of the box:

I remember Walmart(I think) having a demo PC set up with DOS JP on it. God that game was terrible.

I actually own the Turrican Soundtrack Anthology; I was fortunate enough to back it on Kickstarter, and got the 4-CD set I just wish the games themselves could be officially revived too.

If anything, I'd say there isn't enough hate fomented for Euro microcomputer games.

Why do your fans hate you so much? They trash-talked Yoshi's Island, that's why.
