Doesitrundoom.tumblr.com was mentioning this too. As he was trying to answer the question "does Vita run DOOM?"

Me, I hope it can run Neo Geo games.

A lot of the problem with PSP emulation was the forced widescreen perspective. If that's the same case here, I don't know if it's going to be an ideal set up.

I use my PSP primarily for emulation. And the all emulators I use have the option to set the aspect ratio to "original" or "fit" - otherwise I would not play them, because I hate "wide" or "stretched" modes.

Maybe it was just my own dumb fault, then! ha ha. Can't recall the names of the NES, SNES, and Genesis emulators I was using on my PSP, but I didn't see a way to make them run in anything other than "stretch to fit mode". Granted, I often can't see something sitting right in front of my face.

You should maybe try again then? I would recommend it, there are some really good emulators around (NesterJ, Masterboy, Picodrive ...).

My PSP is basically a relic sitting on a shelf these days, but I'm totally cool with rescinding my previous comment about emulation being unwieldy on it.

My PSP is basically a relic sitting on a shelf these days What a shame, but I assume you also have a Vita then? Judging from what was already possible on the PSP the Vita's future could be very bright in terms of emulation. I dream of fullspeed emulation (with Vsync) for all Mega Drive, SNES, Neo Geo games, ScummVM with touch controls and some decent N64 emulation.

Yeah, I'll definitely have to look into getting this running on Vita. Would make a great system even better.
