Wow, that is interesting. At first I thought: What VGM is <30 seconds? And looking at this thread, I realized.. actually, A LOT. But I basically never realized it. Specifically with loader music from the 8- and 16bit home computers, there is so much. Crazy. I think my favorite is: It's surprisingly hard for me to tell how long the looped sequence actually is, but well, under 30 seconds for sure.
Another really cool example:
But yeah more research is needed for sure. I bet there are dozens <30seconds amiga loader loops out there that I have no idea are <30seconds;)

Ahh, I see  . I should have picked the first TMNT. In that game almost all the tracks qualify: It's amazing how much can be expressed musically in just 30 seconds.
