So I want to setup a mouse and keyboard type deal in nullDC... just to see how Outtrigger works with they Keyboard+Mouse combo, and other FPS games. I just ordered an Outtrigger+Mouse combo on eBay, but I'm hankering to play it now I setup the plug-ins no problem: Port 1 - DC Keyboard Port 2 - DC Mouse Port 3 - null Port 4 - DC Controller + VMU nullDC recognizes the Keyboard and the controller. I can't, however, get it to recognize the mouse as a mouse. At first, I thought there must be a hotkey to toggle the mouse on and off - no dice. I've googled and YouTubed this over and over, and there's almost no info on it. Plenty of info on how to setup the various controllers for the ports. Also plenty of people asking the same question. But absolutely no responses on how to fix it - no actual info on how to get nullDC to activate/recognize your mouse as a DC mouse. I'm pulling my hair out. Surely, someone, somewhere has gotten this working before. Any of you out there given this a try before? Has it worked? Tell me your secrets

I'm not super familiar with nullDC I've only ever used it for Shenmue and D2 but afaik it's not really doable to configure camera movements with mouse movements like a computer FPS would have it. I'm not familiar with any console emulators that would do that tbh The mouse is only used for button prompts, like r click, l click, whatever peripheral buttons on ur gaming mouse if thats you movement. Emulators don't play nice with it emulating movement or a joystick. Don't know why, not well versed enough. That said if there is a way to do it, my bad! And that'd be really cool! Just never figured it out myself to be quite honest, and never seen builds and options for it.

The Dreamcast had Mouse and Keyboard peripherals released for it, so some games actually had baked in support for K+M, which was neat! I own a DC Keyboard, and I've got a DC Mouse coming in the mail. nullDC supports modes for those peripherals (just check out the options you have available under the Port settings whilst configuring the Maple options) - the DC Keyboard configuration works like a charm in the emulator... the mouse though, that's what I'm having trouble getting to work. That's the thing, it's totally possible, there's just no documentation on it. How I have it set up should just work, but it doesn't. It's all so frustrating, haha

Yeah that sounds really frustrating. How do you have it set up? Maybe I can recreate it and then see if there's anything to adjust?

There are third party driver packages available to map your mouse to joystick controls. This isn't what the OP is asking about, though. The Dreamcast had keyboard and mouse peripherals, which worked in some games, which he is attempting to emulate with his actual PC keyboard and mouse.

When I get a bit of time on my days off, I'll pop a couple of screenshots up to show what I'm doing, and how I have them setup
