Hey all. I'm doing research for a new book (target release date: mid-2018), and I'm trying to contact as many fansite webmasters from the old days as possible. Would anyone know how to get ahold of Malc from SHMUPS! these days? I'm also trying to find Jason D. Wood from Starbase 299 and the former webmaster of Blazing Lazers, whose name escapes me at the moment.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Feel free to PM me here, message me at gradiusone[at]yahoo(dot)com or just reply here with any leads. And if you can think of any other former webmasters, feel free to post them here. That would be a big help.
edit: found Jeff, he's in.

So err, what's the book called? Because I'm interested in fan sites and fan communities from the 90s or so, and a book about the same is probably one I'd like reading.
As far as suggestions go... well, it depends what kind of fan webmasters you want to talk to. Maybe you could try and get in contact with some of the old Zelda community leaders, like the guy that setup Zelda Universe (can't remember the name)? Or Joe Merrick from Serebii.net? Cause those sites have been around for ages now, and are some of the few big fan sites that actually made it to the 'current' era without losing their traffic.
Either way, good luck with the project.
