Going through 1995 SNES music and came across the Emit games/edutainment. They seem to have redbook audio, but how does the audio syncing work there if there was no addon? www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9-HwRDkDDo

These games came with an adapter that plugs into the controller port and acts as a remote control for an external CD player.

I've updated the SNES and SB pages and finished a first draft for the next yearly list, 1995. Will be editing it a bit over the next few days.

Updated the 1993-1995 lists (adding some US/EU only SNES games I'd missed for example), and made a top 30 YT playlist for the 1995 list: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwG5BJtZBCU&list=PLznWdSFQxsPvIfFuyThRKRLPeRRLZP4DRTons of minor updates to most other pages have been made as well, and I had to update a bunch of SNES links since one of the better uploader channels on YT was deleted.

Another one down, three more to go. This year ended up relatively short, with only DOS gaming still going as strong as before out of the platforms I'm doing currently. 1996 page: minirevver.weebly.com/vgm-1996.html

The SNES page is basically done: minirevver.weebly.com/spc700-snes-music.htmlNow's a good time to chime in before I finalize the layout. Use Ctrl+F to find a particular game, and don't forget the "best of the rest" page linked to below the top tier entries, in this case a top 300 since the SNES library is huge and a lot of games sound pretty good.

Latest update: Namco C219 Page A variation on the C140 wich was quite powerful for the time, with twice the amount of channels on SNES and pretty good sample quality. Shame it wasn't used that much. Next up is QSound.

Great work on that SNES listing, I never seem to get enough of it! I'd recommend Fushigi no Umi no Nadia (PC-98) for the YM2203, it has a very good rendition of the anime's OST. Oh, is there not a GBA listing? Summon Night: Swordcraft Story is worth a mention. It's one of my favorite GBA OSTs, most of all because it sounds a lot more chiptune-y than most other games.

Thanks, that one took ages. Feel free to let me know if I missed the mark on something, I know some placements are a bit controversial. Added Nadia, it sounds pretty solid on OPN as well. I haven't gotten to GBA but I will. Just now I added some pics and playlists to the top composers page, then I'll finish Qsound. After that it goes something like this: -Namco C352 -Sega MultiPCM -The rest of sample-based Sound Blaster music (1998 onwards) -Gravis Ultrasound (Native Hardware Mixing Supported games) -Probably N64 since it's a small library After all that I could have a look at GBA, though there's also Wonderswan, PS1 and Saturn.

Ah, so you're going sort of chronologically? No hurries then! I had forgotten to mention this, but the official OST album for Etrian Odyssey has the (I assume) original PC-88 recordings ( fully uploaded on YouTube). Also Koshiro himself uploaded a small sample of the real PC-88 songs sometime last year ( via Twitter).
