No one's been ragged on yet? Here, I'll blow the doors wide open. Games that I have never even seen being played in the flesh: - Katamari Damacy
- Ico
- Space Ace
- Dragon's Lair
- Half Life 2
- Silent Hill
- Splinter Cell
- Guitar Hero
- Tie Fighter
- Any game by Treasure
- The Sims
- Twilight Princess
- .Hack
- Ys
- Xenogears
- Vagrant Story
- Full Throttle
- Sam & Max
- Day of the Tentacle
- Picross
- Any Star Trek game
- Any Dragon Quest game
- Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
- Tenchu
- Nester's Funky Bowling
There's plenty more, of course--and if we're counting games I've actually seen but never played, the list grows immensely. On top of that, if we're counting games that didn't become dull after, say, 2 hours and I put down never to play again--you might find that I've only actually played 15 games my whole life. You might think it's bad, but to be honest, most people have never even heard of these things--and that's who I am: just some regular guy who happened to stumble upon this place. Go ahead; knock my karma points down a bit.

-I don't care that Clover Studio was shut down, because imo their games were at best mediocre. -Both Half Life games are extremely awkward and linear -Everyone seems to go into convulsions when there are fire and ice levels in games, yet Nintendo games always get a pass. This is unfair because Nintendo really started the trend and even more frustrating they continue to do so over and over and over.

I'm worried about the Wii's novelty wearing off really quickly.

- I can't stand either of the Halo games. I honestly think they're terrible.
- I have never actually beaten either Sonic the Hedgehog or Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (but have beaten Sonic CD)
- I've never been a huge fan of RPGs with me only ever completely beating Super Mario RPG, Skies of Arcadia, Paper Mario, and Chrono Trigger (which took forever)
- Love football, but Madden bores me to tears.

There's nothing about my lifestyle that I'm afraid to admit... Well, except for that one part everyone does but doesn't admit. But if you want shock value: - Only MMORPG I've tried was WoW for an hour and a half...and it didn't have that same wow factor I got from other games...it actually felt like something you'd find in the bargain bin. - I nearly never finish games. Only exception is that I've beaten nearly all of the Megaman series, with only Battle Network and Zero left. -I buy games on impulse, and because of that I rarely can afford anything else, except for the occasional soda. -I don't have a Wii -I haven't gotten into any fighter series as such, only fighter I'm good at is Guilty Gear XX #Reload, where I can match up pretty good against the highest difficulty bot. -I like the graphic style in Sonic 3 more than Sonic 2, and I can't tell the difference in sprites between them. -My only "mod" was putting some rubber stoppers on a Slimline PS2, so that it couldn't detect when the lid was closed. -I love Fallout Tactics! -I think Final Fantasy VII is okay, and it set some standards, but it's not game of the year any year. I could go on and on, but frankly it's pretty typical of a hardcore gamer.

Wait, here's one that I though I'd buried somewhere:
-The Master gave me a nightmare. Man, that thing is creepy.

-The Master gave me a nightmare. Man, that thing is creepy. ... crap. I know I should probably know what it is, but I'm not quite sure which Master you mean. All that comes to my mind is the evil Time Lord from Doctor Who. If you wanna know something further, though? -Mabu/Geldra from Rolling Thunder gave me nightmares too. Several, in fact. -Jaquio from Ninja Gaiden creeped me the fuck out too. -That horrid humanoid freak in the tank in FF7 nearly made my heart explode. So... I bet I've been scared by other things in games, but these ones have given me many a jeeblie. Think what would happen to poor ol' me if I ever played any Silent Hill or Fatal Frame...

The greatest shock I've had playing a game was when I walked into a turret as an alien in Alien Vs Predator. I didn't play the game a long time afterwards....

Ahh, The Master. One of the mos humane and inhumane villains of video gaming at the same time. ....I've never finished Fallout 2, Ive tried twice but I always quit when I'm about to meet the president... I need to give it another try.

Ah, yes, that The Master! I remember... and yes, I can totally see why you'd be whigged out. He truly is nightmarish. Can you provide me with either an audio or video clip? I'd like to hear how freaky he sounds.

An HG101 confessional?
1) I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't dance, but I do spend waaaaay too much money on game related stuff.
2) Little to no regrets regarding 1.
3) I jumped when the dogs came through the window in Resident Evil.
4) I actually got really freaked out playing (but more importantly listening to) System Shock 2.
5) I'm a jack of all trades, but master of none when it comes to games, with the sole exception being I cannot get my head around RTS games for the life of me (and I've tried to get into it via Starcraft and Warcraft, and a couple others. I've given up trying now)

3) I jumped when the dogs came through the window in Resident Evil. lol, same here. Scariest game moment though was when Scissorman jumped out of the picture in Clock Tower PS1 -- the castle section (AKA the last level)! I literally dropped the controller, jumped back and yelled "ahh!" =p

I'm still nervous when I play King's Field 1 & 2 for Playstation. The game has some of the darkest labyrinths and scariest foes in a Playstation game, and the dreary music, ominous sounds and the fact that humans don't really have faces adds to the suspense. Then there's the ghosts that loom around and blind you, and the screen gets pitch black...then you're nervously running into walls and what you "think" are doors...only to get stabbed in the back by an unknown assailant.
