I got a 128GB Micro SD card a day or two ago, for my Switch. I took some screenshots and videos in Zelda while it was in the system, and I wanted to upload the screenshots from the micro SD card to my computer. So, I plugged them into my adapter, and it said the disk needed to be formatted. I plugged it back into the Switch and it was fine there, so just to make sure I transferred my screenshots/videos to the Switch internal storage (so I at least didn't lose those). Then I plugged the micro SD card back into the computer, and it wanted to format it as a 1.88MB-size drive, for some reason, even though it's a 128GB drive. I said ok, because I figured I could reformat it later if it didn't work, but umm... I have yet to figure out a way to reformat it as larger than 1.88MBs. It did show up as 128GBs when I first put it in the Switch, so I don't think it's a fake drive, like some places online seem to indicate. When I plug it back into the Switch, the Switch says it doesn't have enough free data, and I need to clear some data off while it's plugged into my computer (it then says "no SD card detected" when I go to the data management page on the Switch). I've downloaded some free programs that are designed to repartition disks, and also tried cleaning and repartitioning the disk with command prompt, but nothing seems to be working. My micro SD card seems to eternally be arbitarily stuck as a 1.88MB SD card.
My computer is Windows 7 64-bit, if that matters. The micro SD card came with an adapter to fit it in regular SD slots, and I'm using a Promaster Digital adapter thing, plugged into my computer via USB.
Does anyone have any advice? I'm not sure what else to try at this point. The thought that I ruined my micro SD card I literally just bought is pretty upsetting.
