This thread is for those games which take some aspect of their design to a ludicrous extreme. A few examples:
Campaign length
The main storyline of Fate: Gates of Dawn (Amiga) took the CRPG Addict 272 hours to complete, with a guide.
Number of playable characters
Tobal 2 (PS1) has 200 characters to choose from.
Individual level size
How about the Wizardry-style CRPG, Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan? Here's a single level of the dungeon:

Number of discrete levels
The Sentinel (ZX Spectrum) offers 10000 unique levels, with the data for each level stored in a single 8-digit number.

Small screen resolution
The Mattel Auto Race (1976), as well as the other games in its line, features a 3x7 LED display. Yes, that's a whole game played with only 21 pixels.

I think Tobal 2 was even in the video game edition of the Guiness book for the number of playable characters. In reality, though, there are only about a dozen real characters in the main game. The high number comes from the fact that you can capture every monster type present in the roguelike RPG mode and play as them in the fighting modes (plus unlock a few bosses). Most of them have much more limited movesets than the regular characters, though. You can even import your leveled-up character from the Quest mode into the main game, and since the impact of your hits depends on your states, a single punch with a high-level character can send the other player halfway across the ring.

Knytt Underground may not have the biggest Metroidvania world, but I feel like it probably has the biggest contiguous single "zone" of any Metroidvania out there (as in, there are no boundaries splitting this into smaller zones like Norfair, Brinstar, etc.; this is all one big location). Which is compounded by the fact that, unlike most Metroidvanias, this entire map is accessible more or less from the very start, making this also possibly the most overwhelmingly nonlinear location I've ever seen in any Metroidvania. For the biggest Metroidvania world overall, I submit that that honor probably goes to Aquaria. It's hard to get a sense of scale from a stylized map like this, but if you look at some of the narrowest lines here (the Sun Temple in the northeast, for example) and consider that those are traversible passages in a sizable location, it becomes clear that the world you're dealing with in this game is kind of ridiculously sprawling: Also, longest full name of a video game definitely goes to the not-so-great PS4 title "Natsuiro High School" (name is abbreviated). I'm just going to copy/paste from the Wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natsuiro_High_School:_Seishun_HakushoFull name: 夏色ハイスクル★青春白書〜転校初日のオレが幼馴染と再会したら報道部員にされていて激写少年の日々はスクープ大連発でイガイとモテモテなのに何故かマイメモリーはパンツ写真ばっかりという現実と向き合いながら考えるひと夏の島の学園生活と赤裸々な恋の行方。〜 Natsuiro Haisukuru★Seishun Hakusho ~Tenkou Shonichi no Ore ga Osananajimi to Saikai shitara Houdoubuin ni Sarete ite Gekisha Shounen no Hibi wa Sukuupu Dairenpatsu de Igai to Motemote nanoni Nazeka Mai Memori wa Pantsu Shashin Bakkari toiu Genjitsu to Mukiainagara Kangaeru Hitonatsu no Shima no Gakuen Seikatsu to Sekirarana Koi no Yukue.~ "Summertime High School: A Young Man's Notes—How a New Exchange Student Like Myself Ran Into His Childhood Friend on the School Tour, Then for Some Reason Became Super-Popular with the Girls for His Daily Scoops on the School Photography Club Even Though He Only Takes Panty Shots, and What He Thinks as He Goes on Dates During His Summer of Island School Life." -Tom

Are Nippon Ichi SRPGs still unique with respect to their ridiculous stats?

The Aphrodite sequence in God of War 3 is probably the most graphic sexual content from one of the major publishers (Sony in this case) and will sadly probably remain that way. Expensive special edition
Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition cost $1300 and came with a leather jacket, among other things.
Imagine paying that much money for that terrible game, good grief.

Hm, the Hyper Neo Geo 64 cartridges might win for media volume, but remember that there have been a few LaserDisc-based systems in history that are probably wider than the carts, at least.

See also 8 inch floppy disks. Yeah, but as far as I'm aware, those were only ever used on mainframes/minicomputers/etc. I'm not aware of a single home computer that used them, certainly not one that had commercially-available games in that format. ...they're pretty rad regardless

Length of single music track
Here's Thomas Detert's theme for Gordian Tomb (C64, 1990), which is a single 31-minute track that doesn't loop.
