Nintendo announced the entire SNES Classic library right on the initial announcement.

Question about Tengai Makyo 2... is it going to be censored? (well, I suppose that's an issue for people with the reading capability to enjoy the game.) Reportedly there was some censorship with the game by the time of the DS port. Not too familiar with what it was, but is it something they'd backport?
For example, while I heard that the PSP version of Tengai Makyo: The Fourth Apocalypse was better in terms of gameplay than the Saturn original, it had some edits such as changing the "Indians" to "Redskins" (or red-skinned people, I guess as attempt to be more politically correct... except I guess they didn't hear about the US football team, if that controversy had happened before, I can't recall.)

Positive you are getting the original versions of everything. If Snatcher is untouched so should Tengai Makyou 2.

Surprising to see this coming to Europe at all, where, as far as I remember, this was not even a thing. Google suggests that the original console was sorta released in France, but I dunno? The only time I ever heard of it as a little european kid was when Castlevania: Vampire’s Kiss was released on the SNES and the gaming press briefly mentioned that it was based on a japanese Castlevania, but not as good. And it wasn’t until maybe 10-15 years ago that I even realised that the PC Engine and TurboGrafx were the same thing.
It’ll be interesting to see if anyone in Europe will pick this up at all. I mean, I am definitely picking it up despite no nostalgia attached whatsoever. But I’m also strange.

NEC scrapped their European release plans after the console did underperform in the US. Some units were already made, so it saw a very limited release just to get them out of stock. The French version is seemingly just the Japanese system imported and distributed by third party retailers.

There was an official distribution deal for the Japanese PC Engine in France through a company called Sodipeng (Société D'Importation de la PC-Engine, or PC Engine Importation Society), which sold it through various retailers from 1988 to 1993, and it had a niche following. None of the games were translated into French, AFAIK, but they probably printed some french instructions.
My brother picked up a bunch of French gaming magazines on a trip to France around '94 or '95 and I remember it being advertised and mentioned.

The TurboGrafx-16 actually had a very dedicated following in Europe despite NEC not officially releasing it there themselves (the European home console market was generally ignored by most except SEGA until the mid/late-90s, which is why their consoles tended to have more reverence over here compared to the likes of Nintendo's systems). In fact, its planned EU release was hotly anticipated for some years, and it's often been said that the disappointment caused by the cancellation was one of the major driving forces behind the import scene becoming as big in Europe as it did during that time (with magazines like Super Play capitalizing on this by focusing heavily on covering Japanese games long before they ever went west).
So it makes a good deal of sense that the Mini would be released over here; as well as the fact that nearly 30 years later, the European market is held in the same regard as American or Japan, so it would be silly to not release anything over here to begin with.

Yay, nice to see that Konami listened (that felt weird to say). Also, I'm glad to see M2 is working on this. There where rumors that they were being hired for this but I hadn't seen anything else about it up till now. Now, I just need an Atari Jaguar Mini...

Hmmm, my part of Europe was very much Nintendo land back then, (even the Master System which I now know was pretty big elsewhere in Europe was semi-obscure here. Everyone and their mother had an NES. Could maybe explain why we got things like Mr Gimmick when others did not?)
I remember Super Play! They had manga style covers and also a section about japanese RPGs. It’s where I first saw screenshots of Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia and Final Fantasy VI. I think my love for JRPGs started with that very magazine...

I don’t recall seeing the T-16 at all in stores. Mostly it was just Nintendo and Sega stuff, though I may have heard about it in gaming magazines.

This is a great value. I started collecting some PC-Engine games a few years back, and it gets expensive pretty quickly. I know some people aren't happy with the line up, but hey, that's what modding is for.

It is said the TurboGrafx was released in the UK, probably limited I'm guessing. I know a few years ago I seen one of the "console repair" youtubers work on one (which was labeled a "TurboGrafx" and not "TurboGrafx-16", that small distinction between a UK console and a US console.)
