Ok guys, time for my most controversial thread yet. Port begging is frowned upon in some corners of the internet, but helpless games are being forgotten to time and I feel our community should fight in the side of ports.
To put it simply, this thread is for games you think need to be ported to modern platforms, whether in general or a specific one whether it be due to actual issues with the game that could be addressed or just preservation.
A few to start:
Kid Icarus (lefties) Uprising - I just want to be able to play it
System Shock 2 to consoles - same reason
Luigi's Mansion 2 - There was a sound glit h which could do with being fixed
Killer 7 - Could do with gyro controls

I'd like to see a port of Uprising too. I think it could work with Star Fox Zero style motion controls, but the controls had so many vocal detractors I'm not sure if Nintendo would go down that route again. SS2 could use a real update that tweaks some of the clunkier and less balanced elements and actually finishes it as the later parts were clearly hastily thrown together. I am afraid that it'd potentially get streamlined too much and lose something in the process.
The Dig - It was always my favorite LucasArts adventure, and I would love to see an HD version.
Star Fox Zero - I liked it a lot and picked up the controls right away. Some people did not seem to understand that you could swap the tablet and TV displays (first and third person views) with - or maybe they were just outright trolling. Regardless, it didn't really get very good use out of the two screens and wouldn't lose much in the transition to Switch.
Xenoblade Chronicles X - I have a feeling that this could be in the pipeline for the eventual Switch successor, but I still want it now!

Just near everything Sega Saturn and Dreamcast-related. Majority of From Software's pre-Dark Souls catalog. Sakura Wars 1-5 Dot Hack IMOQ Many early Tales games, especially Destiny Remake and Rebirth Shadow Hearts trilogy (seriously, has anybody tried to reach out to Universial Ent. for ports?)

I've always wanted to play the Sega Saturn game Dragon Force but I'm too lazy to emulate and don't want to shell out the cash for a disc and Sega Saturn, so port that somewhere.
The Goemon games need more love. I'd pay a lot of money for a collection, especially if they could go the extra mile and translate the Japan only titles.

Write me down for Uprising as well. I didn't have a problem with the control scheme (played it for hours on end on a launch model even), but the Switch's Wii+Nunchuk-esque dual Joycon control scheme is just begging for this game. And it would give me the opportunity to experience the online multiplayer again, which was surprisingly solid. Although I'd rather have a sequel.
Star Fox Zero I second as well. The game is promising, but the controls weren't good and they're just plain unnecessary. I think they can rework the game to work with just a regular SF perspective, though I guess you might as well make a new SF at that point, because the name Star Fox Zero won't exactly get people running to their local gaming store.
I also second From Soft's pre-Dark Souls games. They have a lot of intriguing stuff. But I would also like to see maybe DSII on Switch.
The big one for me would be Persona on Switch, but Atlus must have some sort of arrangement with Sony. Persona 4 on PC is cool and all, but a digital only version of an 80-hour RPG I have to play by connecting the laptop to my TV + the fact I have controller issues with my laptop makes that a bit less appealing than just a Switch cart of the same game. And throw P3 and P5 on there while they're at it. I'm just really interested in trying these out.
I would mention VB Wario Land if the 3DS was still around, but it isn't, so I won't.
Oh, and obviously every single game that has never been localized and/or is way too expensive to buy secondhand ok bye.

Port of Godzilla Unleashed, but based on the Wii version and without the forced motion controls. Edit: Honestly I just want a Godzilla Vs. game with a robust roster.

Why are no Wario Land games available? Really great series left in the past. Xenoblade X I agree is probably happening on the next platform. That game would benefit more from the additional story bonus content they seem to like. There's quite a bit to tie up should they chose to go down that road. My opinion on Star Fox Zero is mixed re the controls. I think they enjoyable but that everything just becomes overwhelming for me. For some other Switch ports in fan favourite franchises Nintendo has announced a port alongside a new entry to avoid negative responses that might come if fans don't see a future for the series. I wonder if a new game might come first or at a similar time. Oh, and obviously every single game that has never been localized and/or is way too expensive to buy secondhand ok bye. So pretty much everything then! We're done here!

dsparil The Dig is a good one. I really enjoy its atmosphere. What it really needs is a version that cleans up the cutscenes, getting rid of painfully obvious compression artifacts. It also needs smooth scrolling (this is where the Scumm engine really shows its age). Personally I'd keep the beautiful pixel art, but a redrawn HD version could still be interesting. But you know what, since we are already begging, let's beg big: Since it is known for its long development cycle and multiple revisions, I'd also like an Alternate The Dig, based on one of the earlier drafts. Just so I could enjoy that world again, but with fresh eyes... This is the thread of dreamers, is it not? The Curse of Monekey Island is another one that is in desperate need of remastering. Again those beautifully animated cutscenes suffer from terrible video quality and (in this case) the in-game art is really held back by the SVGA constraints. I'd also love to see Castlevania The Adventure being ported from the Nintendo Game Boy to the Nintendo Game Boy... I'm not kidding: It should use the updated Belmont's Revenge-engine, which runs noticeably more smoothly. And fine: all the modern systems with their Castlevania Collections and whatnot should get this update, too. Not a single person would ever be able to complain about it again... I know, I know, but we are still in the realm of rainbows and wishes! A proper GBC version would be nice, too, since the official one is not that pretty. And naturally all of Konami's Rebirth Wii games need ports, too.
Warioland VB arguably wouldn't need the stereoscopic view - especially if it was colourized. Maybe turning "out of focus" background/foreground layers lighter or darker and subtly blurry might be a way to compensate for the lack of 3D, too.

Well there's a lot that should at least be on a PC service and I suppose Switch as well. But to mention something specific I'll go with Sega's late '90s arcade output.
The "port with some extras and QoL features" treatment could be nice for these among others (correct me if I'm wrong about any of these, I don't have a current console): NES: Abadox: The Deadly Inner War Solomon's Key 1-2 The Goonies II Adventure Island IV/Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima IV Adventures of Lolo 1-3 Shadow of the Ninja Little Nemo: The Dream Master (NES) Bucky O'Hare Metal Storm DuckTales 2

Battle Mania Daiginjou Landstalker Lords of Thunder (and/or PCE CD ver.) Flashback: The Quest for Identity (or PC ver.)

It wouldn't need it, but if Nintendo was ever going to bring back VB titles it was with the 3DS. Plus, the missed-opportunity-factor is so big, that they might as well not even bother at this point. Why are no Wario Land games available? Really great series left in the past. Handheld legacy content on Switch is just not really a thing from Nintendo for some reason. 1 through 4 were all available on last gen's VC and the Wii U was BC with Shake Dimension, though. So they're still pretty accessible thankfully.

Someone at Nintendo must be really ashamed of the Virtual Boy's failure. I think only in the shape of some Warioware mini-games its existence was ever acknowledged. Such a pity. They should really embrace their complete history (even the part with the Yakuza ).

I want that Gimmick! remake they only made for arcades on Switch and PC. Such a weird thing to keep arcade-exclusive..

Can we throw in the sequel? It's not very available and I've never been able to play it. I have a real soft spot for the original game. windfisch - Virtual Boy was the butt of the joke in Luigi's Mansion 3, so there was that reference.

The other possibility was for a Labo VR collection since the low resolution wouldn't matter for VB games, but that is probably not going to happen at this point.
