What did you get for Christmas involving video games this years? Mine are... Ducktales Remastered (PS3) Rabbids Go Home (Wii) (Daaaaaahhhhh!)  Psychonauts (Xbox) Metroid Dread, Alwa's Collection and Candleman (import) (Switch) $100 Gamestop gift card (Thinking of getting that Monster Hunter game on Switch. Think it has Rise in the title.) Nothing for me this year, although I did download Märchen Forest since it was on a huge eShop sale for Christmas.

I got the Ni No Kuni II board game and Chocobo Party Up board game. The latter has really nice artwork and I'm looking forward to having a go at it. Let me know how you get on with Fate of Nostromo chronotigger65 because I've been eyeing it.   |

I usually ask for one video game a year for Christmas. A simple, easy gift. This year I got Metroid Dread and my family is out of town for a couple days so I'm looking forward to using that time to dive into it.
My brother in law got me that Zelda Game and Watch which is a cool little gimmick. I haven't played Link's Awakening in at least 25 years and it looks great on the screen so I'll play that at least.

Closest I got to gaming loot for Christmas is the instax mini Link printer that I mentioned in the main video game thread (because of the Switch connection), though I might use a gift card on a game.

Got gifted a 2nd Zelda Game & Watch!
And a PC-Engine Mini.... to gift someone else!
I ordered the physical Switch Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth from Play-Asia, so I'm just waiting on it to arrive.

As I mentioned on the General Game Chat thread the other day, I got €50 worth of eShop money from my brother and his girlfriend. I decided to ask people online to suggest Switch games worth €5-10 (or less), which I would then buy and consider an indirect Christmas present from them. So far, that's led to me getting:
-Frane: Dragon's Odyssey (recommended by a friend on the World Animation Discord)
-MagiCat (recommended by dsparil)
-Darkside Detective (recommended by excelsior)
-Kero Blaster (recommended by Son of Suzy Creamcheese)
-Machinarium (recommended by another friend on the World Animation Discord)
That's pretty much it at the moment, as I haven't yet gotten any more suggestions for games I didn't already check out, and the rest of the gifts have been things like clothes, a notepad and even a jigsaw puzzle.
