There was some discussion of this in the General Game Chat Thread already. Unfortunately you have missed the gigantic Capcom sale, but you are not too late for the giant Atlus/Sega sale. I own some of them already and I'm about to buy SMT IV Apocalypse, Etrian Odyssey IV, and Etrian Odyssey V. I already have the DS versions of SMT Strange Journey, Devil Survivor Overclocked, and Devil Survivor 2, but apparently the upgrade is worthwhile, and it's not like I'll really have the chance again. I was pretty tempted by Sonic Generations, but apparently it's really short. Sonic Generations is long enough. It is the best 3DS-Sonic, and it's well worth it's price. don't hesitate.

This just occurred to me: Nintendo will probably shut down their 3DS rewards on the My Nintendo site alongside the 3DS store. The most valuable thing there is the Twilight Princess Picross game for 1000 Platinum Coins (though you get 100 just for linking your 3DS to the My Nintendo site, which is required to unlock the game anyways). You can win that easily by going to the "Earn Points" page and doing various challenges. The easiest way would be to visit some of Nintendo's promo sites and find the "hidden" secrets, which can easily get you the 900 points you need. It took me less than half an hour.
Unless you really want a 3DS theme or some in-game cash for Fire Emblem Heroes or something, the Picross game is definitely the best reward on the site. Obviously it's smaller than a full game with only 45 puzzles (in both standard and Mega formats) but it's basically free and it's another Jupiter game so it's up to the same standard of any full-length 3DS Picross.

I am going to rack up so many gold coins from my purchases, and I will have absolutely nothing to spend them on, dangit.
Anyway, the 3DS version of Shovel Knight is now on sale at 75% off. I've already got the Steam version (and overpaid for it substantially, I think), but I never got around to playing it, and apparently it makes very good use of the 3D effect, so I think I'll pick it up.
