For this thread I'm looking for games that have interactive credit sequences, no matter where the credits occur in the game, and of course what the playable feature is in each.
To start us off - Tatsunoko vs Capcom has two, dependent on who you play as I remember, specifically because Roll has her own where you fly on a broomstick collecting the named credits. Other characters give you control of the Dronojo gang who ride one of those triplets bikes over hills and works like a platformer, again trying to collect the credits.
Sonic Colours has a long closing credit scene where you dash into the names of those credited and collect rings from them. It was kind of nice for the first couple of minutes anyway.

I think all(?) the Smash Bros games have a credits sequence that doubles as shooters. Shooting someone's name gives them details on their role I think.

Altered Beast is the first one I remember. You beat down credits as they come on screen as a sort of skipping feature. Some newer games have done variations on that.

Devil May Cry 3/4/5 and Bayonetta 1/2 have interactive credits where you beat up a bunch of enemies in various locations from the game while their respective theme tunes (or brand new pieces in the case of Bayo) play in the background.

Not quite sure if this is what you mean, but Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis' title sequence consists of consecutive scenes that have Indy looking for the way to the next room, the finding of which knocks him out for a bit. Credits are shown until he comes to and this continues until the credits are over and the actual game starts.

In the first Game Tengoku you can shoot the names in the credits before a second loop starts. In Khimera - Destroy all the Monstergirls there's a minigame underneath the credits where you have the heroine's silhouette punching enemies, still in silhouette. There's a counter but as far as I know it doesn't do anything. If I remember correctly in Wicce you can catch falling stars during the credits and also get an achievement for that.

This is a stretch but...the Developers Ending in Chrono Trigger? You get to walk around and talk to all the staff members. The game still has a number of proper ending credits sequences though.
The ending Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a level that takes place in the Lucas Arts offices, complete with staff members (including George Lucas) that you can walk up to and they will tell you what they did in the game...

Star Fox lets you play through the credits if you beat the Slot Machine secret boss, but there's not much to it.
Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance lets you play through the credits as a "Dive," giving you points for each credit you touch, with an obnoxious secret tied to touching random, gold-coloured letters to spell a secret message.
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales has a playable credits minigame that's more boring than anything, because the credits are surprisingly long. You have to tap certain credits on the bottom screen.

Smash is the first thing that comes to mind. They're usually shooters of some sort but in both versions of Smash 4 you reveal the end picture by hitting the staff names with your character's attacks.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii, 2 and U all have playable credits IIRC. NSMB2 has Mario carrying Peach back to her castle and you can nab some coins, the other two I don't really remember. The DS one doesn't have playable credits per se, but you can interact with letters Mario Paint style.

Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends - both allow you to break the letters composing the credits to get yellow lums (the game currency). Although I believe only in Legends they actually add to your tally, seeing as Origins does not have a total lum counter.

Katamari Forever gives you Katamari Breakout as the final credits roll, with high scores and actual fail-states and all.

Fire and Ice: The Daring Adventures of Cool Coyote (Amiga OCS, 1992) had its ending-credits sequence in the form of a "level" without any enemies or hazards. Its music and background graphics were... memorable, to say the least: (The ending sequence begins at 1:18:09 in the video above. Also note: this video was captured from original Amiga hardware, hence the low video quality. I couldn't find any high-quality video of this version of the game's ending, unfortunately.) The Amiga CD32 version of the game (from 1994) re-worked the ending sequence to be like this instead: (The ending sequence begins at 1:05:45 in the video above.) And here's the ending of the MS-DOS version (from 1993), using the MT-32 version of the music: (The ending sequence begins at 1:47:30 in the video above.)
