Okay, so... I just happened upon this site fulla Amiga music: www.amigamusic.com/Oh my god, there are too many effin' downloads. To save lots of time, I just want to know what some of the best uses of the SID chip are? I snagged Apidya, all Turrican games, all Shadow of the Beast games, and Lemmings. Please guide me from there. Also, I wanted to mention that the Shadow of the Beast 1 music I got from this website unfortunately cuts one of my favorite tunes short. It's the one known as Aarbron's Revenge (the music that plays when he's on the field between the start and the castle), so if someone can redirect me to a better MP3 of that one, do let me know.

I don't know about the best songs, but I really like the intro/gameplay music from Dogs of War (beside that song, the game only has one or two other songs). And most of the tracks from Lotus Turbo driving games are pretty good, too. That's all I can think of right now.

I snagged Apidya, all Turrican games, all Shadow of the Beast games, and Lemmings. Every game with Chris Huelsbeck ( X-Out and Jim Power among the others...he also converted the music from the Monkey Island games on the Amiga ) is plenty of great music worth listening at... Finally be sure to listen to Alien Breed ( all of them ),Cannon Fodder,Wings,Flashback,Battle Squadron,Defender Of The Crown and Pinball Dreams. Hope it helps

Amiga didn't use the SID chip, I thought...that was a Commodore 64 thing. But for my recommendations, why not have a look at Worms: Director's Cut, the Turrican games, Fury of the Furries, Scorched Tanks by Michael Welch (great early Sidewinder soundtrack), and Pinball Fantasies. But there's a hell of a lot of good MOD-format music that didn't actually come from Amiga games, and you can find gigabytes worth of it at www.modarchive.com (I suggest looking through the Jogeir Liljedahl and XTD artist sections!).

Cannon Fodder sounds quite nice on Amiga.
War has never been so much fun, war has never been so much fun, war has never been so much fun, war has never been so much fun!
Go (up) to your brother Kill him with your gun Leave him lying in his uniform Dying in the sun

Dune has some excellent music, well worth checking out (the first one, not the more famous sequel).

I also heard someone saying Flashback: The Quest for Identity sounded good on Amiga.
