Hey guys...
I have an odd item and I have no earthly idea how much it's worth or even where to get information on it.
It's an old copy of Romance of the Three Kingdoms II for DOS.
It contains the 3 5¼" game floppies, a highly detail 118 page book, a poster, an upgrade card for upgrading your 5¼" floppies to 3½" floppies, a certifigate of authenticity signed by then KOEI CEO Yoichi Erikawa, a catalogue of KOEI's games, and a reference card. Everything's in mint condition in the box.
Anybody have any ideas? I know there's some fierce RotTK collector's out there..

I just did an Ebay search but apparently nobody else is selling a PC version of any of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games.
Personally, If I had the money and didn't already have the SNES version, I would buy that. Owning a mint complete ROTK2 must be so cool.

I've always thought the title of those games was funny. Anyone who sees the name "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" without knowing what its about (or knowing the alternate meaning of "Romance") probably thinks its some sort of love story.

Well I can't blame them. The first thing that popped into my head when I heard the name was a HUGE orgy.

That's nothin' compared to my reaction when I saw there was an option to propose marriage to another warlord, then realized all the playable characters were male.

...
Then I realized the option allowed you to marry off your daughters, not yourself.

You should totally find Yoichi Erikawa's home address and mail him the upgrade card.

And he'll probably be more than happy to send me the upgraded floppies. Along with some anthrax.

You should keep the entire package as it is and proudly display it in your room somewhere. Or even above your front door.
