www.arcadeshock.com is best for american sticks if you want a jap stick then a custom built one is best.

However, I haven't seen a recent post from him stating if he has a prototype yet or not; given he reads this (and I'm sure he will) I would also be interested in buying one (given my finances allow).

Yeah....I'm really busy this year with all the stuff I'm involved in (editing for two websites, pre-student teaching, being president of the film club, being treasurer of the screenwriting club, writing scripts, filming movies, going to game press events takes a toll on my free time). If I have time I'll come up with a prototype during winter break. I plan on making them almost completely customized and geared to what everyone wants. It will be on a pretty small scale so I'll pretty much only sell to you guys. They will be a little pricey ($100-$150) but they will be awesome hand-made and completely made to your desire so they'll be worth it. Also, every stick will pretty much be priced differently depending on the amount of buttons, type of stick, if you want custom artwork, whether you can donate a controller for parts, and for what system you want it for. Since you guys are into this stuff I'm sure you understand that that kind of quality has to come at a price since they aren't mass produced. If I have the time, I'll make a couple for my own personal use and see if I'm happy enough with them to make them for you. Thanks for the continuing interest and I hope to do this thing soon.
