XI. And for my next trick, I'll revamp the VI and VII pieces for HG101 like I said I was going to do like four months ago.

Very interesting read, although I don't like... get it? I'm gonna think about this one! It follows a certain non-logic, I guess, so that's a fair assessment. Eat poutine when you're there! Its rockin' stuff! I didn't get any poutine, had I the chance to go to Normandin, then I would have, but there was this Chinese place near the hotel that served the most ridiculous amounts of food, so I subsisted on leftovers for much of the trip. also @ pitchfork: *thunderous applause*

Just joined a podcast in Australia with a film compositor (who coincidentally worked on Australia). Basic rants about gaming. A little explicit, references to bizarre japanese fetishes. So NSFW First Ep www.forwardslashawesome.com/?cat=20mini synopsis Enjoy rantings on RE5, Street Fighter 4 and more. Make sure to listen in for those deals and bargins we dish out. Also, ridiculous game of the week, 50 Cent! Second ep was recorded yesterday.

I dunno who! Anyways, it seemed original to me, and very good! The vocals are excellent too! Good job my friend!

The vocals are great, though the overall sound comes off to me like a meticulous re-creations of 80s goth/new wave. If that's what you're going for, then I guess it's a good thing.
One suggestion I'd would like to make, your pitch and tone are excellent, but your timing could use a little work, there's a few parts where you sang a bit faster than the song. This could just be a studio thing, too. Singing to a playback through headphones is hard.

Thanks for the compliments dude- your friend would be right, we are complete rip offs of a lot of goth bands from the 80's haha... Glad you like the vocals though- thats all I do in the band haha. Will note the comments on the timing- for the Track "Cats or Devils Eyes" I am pretty much sticking to the sound of the original song, the other two I done the lyrics/harmonies etc so I'll try to improve the timing Singing with the headphones was weird incidentally like you said, sorta like singing with a motorbike helmet on :\

So I was going through some of my old hard drives, and I actually found a story I wrote like five years ago. I'm trying to read it again and I still don't know what the fuck was going on, but I still really like the way it was written, for some reason. It's like a cross between Chuck Palahniuk and Douglas Adams. I think I was vaguely inspired by Max Payne at the time. hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/vin/story.htm

^ This.
This is amazement. This is what philosophies are made out of. I want to make a shoot 'em up and use that as the story segments. It'd work. It'd only work.

I'm definitely getting the Palahniuk vibe from it... I really like the ending. Incidentally, I too just finished writing... well... something. And with that, I head off for Newfoundland. See you in a month.
