I believe you're really close to the end of Shadow Hearts 1. It's been a long time though and I'm playing through it again just to refresh.
And yes, I'd really love you're help with a Shadow Hearts article. Let me know when you get to Covenant and you'll see why the series deserves an article.

I'm working on mine as we speak. I've already beaten the game so all I need to do is some screen captures. How can I capture the screen on a PC game that doesn't have a capture function? If anyone knows give me a hint please. Thanks. Is this a DOS or a Windows game? If its a Windows game, or if you're playing it in Windows regardless, the PrintScreen method wyrdwad mentioned should work. If you're in DOS mode you'll need a TSR.

Certain Windows games that use DirectX won't work with the normal PrntScrn + Paste method. Besides, screenshot programs will automatically save any picture you take, which is much nicer than having to Alt+Tab out of it, paste it, save it, then get back into the game.
DOSBox has a built in picture taking function which is much more relirable than a lot of those TSR programs.

Not if your using DosBox, then you only need to press Ctrl-F5.

It's a Windows game. Kurt actually hooked me up with a sweet program. Thanks for the help, though.

My scanner came with a disc that allows me to view those .png files I couldn't view before. No promises as to when, but I'd like to (finally) contribute something in the future. I'd like to reserve the Trinea series (Trinea: a.k.a Penta Dragon 2/SFC and Penta Dragon/ Gameboy).

Would Eternal Darkness be considered hard core?? I think it is one of the most under rated games. The debth in the game is amazing.

Of course, ED is one of the must have titles for the Gamecube, meaning not enough people have played it. Personally I think it's more fun to *play* then most of the Resident Evil games even if the other elements aren't always as strong.

Seeing how I have a bad habit of going after big and expansive series, I'd be interested in tackling Phantasy Star next. I'd like to do Shining Force as well, but beyond 1,2,CD and 2 parts of the 3rd installment, I haven't played many of the spinoffs or gaidens. OK, I played a bit of Shining Tears and it made me cry...

Well, I guess I'll now officially call a thread for Cubivore, in lieu of anything more substantial (because I rarely ever get around to actually playing every game in a series).
By the way, if Godhand gets a page, does that make P.N. 03 fair game?
EDIT: Was this a coked-out dream, or was there once a Bahamut Lagoon article here?

Some of the spin-offs aren't too bad. For being a mindless hack and slash, Shining Force Neo is actually pretty good. Shining Tears on the other hand is completely terrible. Like, I can't believe they're actually making a sequel to that and continue to ignore the strategy games, but I guess they sell really well in Japan. By the way, if Godhand gets a page, does that make P.N. 03 fair game? EDIT: Was this a coked-out dream, or was there once a Bahamut Lagoon article here? PN 03 might be interesting. I know a bunch of people like Rasa really like it, but I never got a hang of it. I was told to play the game like an overhead shooter, which given the stilted control schemes, never quite made sense to me. If you can answer the question of how to play the game "properly" so I can see what it is that people see in this game, then yeah, it'd be a great topic. There wasn't a Bahamut Lagoon article on there though. I've never played it personally.

How about the Mario RPG series (Mario RPG, Paper Mario 1&2, Mario & Luigi 1&2). I know they have Mario in them but they are not as popular as many RPG series. Are they hardcore enough for an article the site? I might want to do one.

If you can answer the question of how to play the game "properly" so I can see what it is that people see in this game, then yeah, it'd be a great topic. I enjoyed the game without ever having played it in an "overhead" perspective. If you want to enjoy it, I think you have to lower your expectations a tad, as the game is not going to be nearly as smooth or even as enjoyable as something like Devil May Cry. But if you look at it as a sort of old-school game reimagining, it can be quite enjoyable. Admittedly, I think it would have been much higher regarded had Vanessa not been so bloody clunky to control. BTW, I've got a review of it here: www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/review/R70735.html. That also has a profile of some of my other work, though I must advise you that anything prior to late 2003 is complete ass; I do apologize.
