I thought it was just me who listened to 'Black Tar'. There are a few tracks I find grating on that soundtrack but there's also some gold.
Since video game tracks seem to be on the menu here I've been on a Smash remix binge lately:
As per regular people music I'm listening to - apologies in advance for camping up this thread. Let's see who can make it all the way through.

Been listening loads to an early 2000s alternative band called Garlic. I checked them out because their vocalist and lead songwriter is Mike Wyzgowski, best known as the English lyricist for anime composer Shiro Sagisu since 1996 (that includes the lyrics for Komm Susser Tod from End of Evangelion, Number One and Nothing Can Be Explained - the latter of which he sang - from Bleach, and pretty much every choral action theme Sagisu has composed since the late 00s). They only produced two albums, "The Murky World of Seats" and "Jam Sabbatical", but I'm really liking the vibe from both of them. Here are some of my favourite songs from both so far:

Towa Tei's Alpha. Catchy groove, that feels like hints of Prince. Super Crooks repurposed his song (and some of his other back catalogue) pretty nicely.
