YEah, so I have a PSP Slim and it's firmware is the official 4.05 one... uh...is there any way I can start doing emulation etc... witht his in place? if so...anyone wanna talk me through it? Ah go on, be nice.

you need custom firmware, i don't know how to work with a slim. something about the pandora's battery and magic memory stick if memory serves(ie, you're sacrificing a battery and memory stick just for this, as they become useless for anything else), and i think it needs a 1000/1001 model in order to make em.

You know how it goes, it just takes time. What I heard is that you need to buy a "service mode" battery online that lets you rewrite the firmware to whatever you want.
