Game Songs that give you goosebumps!

It's pretty self explanatory. What game song gives you goosebumbs or that chilling shiver down your spine?

For me it's the theme to super metroid. Back when I first played the game it was the closest thing I had ever experienced to being 'scared' by music alone.

Phantasy Star Universe:Ambition of the Illuminus's HIVE Laia theme. It's one of the scariest game themes I have ever heard.

It's an obvious one, but any of the otherworld tracks on Silent Hill. The clanging and screeching really make it uncomfortable and opressive.

I confess: The distorted hotel music in Threed from Earthbound scared the feces out of me. On subsequent playthroughs, I muted the TV so I wouldn't have to be disturbed by it again. Eep.

Intro to A Link to The Past

Pretty much anything from Golvellius or Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Trap.

Horace's Theme from secret of evermore.

And I was gonna say super metroid as well, good choice.

"Chase music" from Clock Tower. Nothing is more heated or more intense than the paranoia, knowing you could have your arse handed to you in less than five seconds.

You can get goosebumps from a song being good, too. Most of the Xenogears soundtrack does that for me.

If you mean creepy songs though, there's "Path to Closure" from Resident Evil 4 and "GM-01 (Mission Start)" from Devil May Cry.

The underwater songs for Donkey Kong. Maybe I'm just weird, but those tunes gimme the creeps.

That song that plays in RE1 in the underground area before the shark attack (I think). It is a piano song like in Donkey Kong's underwater stuff.

The ending theme for RE2 because it is SO fucking awesome. "Hey, it's up to us to take out umbrella"

Some themes from Metroid Fusion; notably, the nightmare area and area boss' theme, as well as SA-X's theme (chase).

It's always chase themes, with me. I love it though, you only hear those themes during the most adrenaline-pumping moments of a game's life. Silent Hill 3 wasn't haunting enough for me, outside of hearing the unpleasant metal screeching and the radio noise; but those don't count as "songs". XD

Also, when the leech zombies showed up on RE0. Sadly, before hearing that cool symphony, you'd hear something like somebody had just taken a really wet shit.

EDIT: Oh, and Bad Girl's bg music on No More Heroes. It's just unbearably fitting.

These are songs that I find quite beautiful and haunting... that's what would usually provoke a chill down my spine... something haunting and pretty.

- FF7: "Trail of Blood"
- Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne: "Shinjuku Medical Hospital"
- Dark Cloud: -forget the name of it, but the final dungeon theme
- Xenosaga Episode I: "Song of Nephilim", "Inner Space"

There are plenty more, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.
