I'm about to finish up a Punch-Out!! article for the site and I shall probably send it to Kurt by the end of the week. The games include:
Punch-Out!! - Arcade, G&W, GBA Super Punch-Out!! - Arcade Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! / Punch-Out!! - NES, Arcade (PlayChoice 10) Super Punch-Out!! - Super NES, GCN Spin-off: Arm Wrestling - Arcade
I do have a question for you guys however: Can anyone get a picture of the hidden boxer in Fight Night: Round 2 for the GCN? I don't exactly know how to unlock him (I don't own a GCN, but I played the Super Punch-Out!! for GCN and it's good). Also, am I missing anything game wise?

There's a hidden boxer in Fight Night? Punch Out related? Interesting!
Also, how much does the GC version of this go for? If there is Punch Out-ness I would like to obtain it.

Hey, why don't you add Wade Hixton's Counter Punch in your article? It's a Punch-Out!! clone for GBA. It's a pretty nice game overall. www.wadehixton.com/

AWIGHT!!! You've hit upon one of my all-time favorites, Gilder. And including Arm Wrestling too, that's a nice touch! Especially since Mask X is... well, it's a bit of a spoiler. I'll cram it there. ;D
There's also another Punch-Out!-esque game on the GBA called Punch King. Don't know how good it is, but the last boss is a robot, if that counts for anything.

I've found the GC version and all other versions of Fight Night: Round 2 for $19.99 brand new around my area. It only recently went down in price due to Fight Night: Round 3 being available now. Yeah, turns out EA threw in Super Punch-Out!! on the GC version only because Xbox and PS2 had online. I think that's fantastic, as it is my favorite in the series. I also found some pictures found from the Nintendo Database (http://nindb.classicgaming.gamespy.com): Also new question: How do I take screenshots for the ZSNES emulator? I'm trying to get really good shots of Super Punch-Out!! (as in boxers from the World and Special Circuit) and I can't seem to figure out how to obtain them. I see about those other Punch-Out!! clones. It's getting progressively harder to get online seeing how I screwed up my computer on my birthday

You can map the screenshot button to anything in ZSNES, I can't remember the default. Just go into the set control screen and do it from there. I have it set to one of the shoulder buttons on my controller for easy use.

Misc --> Misc Keys --> Quick Keys --> Snapshot
That's how you can set which button you want to take pictures. You can also press F1 while the game is running to make a menu pop up. The first option there is SAVE SNAPSHOT. You also have other options there like changing the image file type from BMP to PNG. You can also save the screenshot and move on to the next frame without missing anything (great for making animations). You also have some sound recording options in this menu as well. Just press F1 again when you're done to get back to the game.

Little Mac looks pretty freaky in 3D. o_O
Anyway, looking forward to the Punch-Out!! article. :) I get cravings to play the NES version all the time, but I always seem to leave it at my mom's house.

That punch out list looks exactly like the one on wikipedia... Anyways, you got to include the NES Power Punch 2 there, as the story goes that game was going to be a (rather stupid) Punch Out 2 game but Nintendo didn't like it or just didn't want anything to do with it and Sammy was forced to release it as Power punch 2 (notice there is no part 1). You can find arcade cabinet images and G&W boxes here: www.classicgaming.com/rotw/punchout/

Power Punch two is the epitome of crap. The controls are so bad its nearly unplayable.
...Woe to those who payed 50 bucks for it back in the day.

How's about an extra section for the WarioWare cameos? The original WarioWare had Punch-Out as a recurring boss game, and WarioWare Touched had a different version where you had to use the microphone.

and it has been sent.
for the article right now, I only focused on the games I talked about and I did add the WarioWare Inc cameos (how could I forget those?!) as well as a quick little thing about King Hippo being on the Captain N show.
I'll try Wade Hixton's Counter Punch, Punch King, and Power Punch 2 once my computer starts working again. Thanks for the suggestions!

I have not got far enough into them to verify, but I have read that a few of the Punch-Out characters are featured as secret characters in the Hajime no Ippo 2 PS2 boxing game.

I do not believe that Nintendo would license out their characters to be in a game for a different console (Phillips CD-I not counting due to an agreement between Nintendo and Phillips). Perhaps they have characters that are similar to Punch-Out!! characters? My God. King Hippo is absolutely hideous.
