This is what's bothering me the most. I actually did the research (finally) to see that SunA was Korean, and it's especially disconcerting. Given, I've rarely been a fan of Korean development, but to have as little as just over a decade ago being a complete copyright-shitting-upon fest is a rather huge contrast to the modern era where there's been quite a few hilarious example of Chinese MMORPG's copying South Korea. Perhaps it is a sign of progress for both countries.

OMG! I read an article about an "awesome" SunA games on HG101!! SunA is one of the most prolifically Korean software house from the mids of the '80's. Their games are all rip-off of other famous games, like the case of Rough Ranger. But the best features of his games it's the soundtrack used for those: you can hear Bolero, the Toccata and Fugue in D-Minor by Bach, you can even hear the famous latin dance "Lambada" playing the horrible "Best of Best". (wtf) I guess if you know the "Hard Head" saga: is the try about SunA to create their mascot like Mario of Nintendo. The first episode is a classic platform game, and it's playing like a fac-simile of Super Mario Bros with gameplay similar to Bobble Bubble. Although, even if it's lack any kind of own personality, it's almost nicely to playing: in Italy, it was also quite popular (thanks to the bootleg "Popper"). The second episode, well is different, and it's more grotesque and hilarious of what you've saw on Ultra Balloon. There are many other titles on the SunA production, more of others Koreans software house. I think an article about the whole SunA production is worth enough.

I know it because of a hilarious typo: Instead of the game announcing when you get a "BONUS," it instead says "BOUNS." Never fails to amuse me. XD Kevin, this article is as hilarious as the last one. It's a fitting look into the potential fubarity of the arcade scene.

I checked on my pc and I discovered that i actually have this game. Lol.
I make some play on it after I read the article. Do you know that most of the enemies you encounter during the first stages has been appears in the previous Hard Head games? I refer to those absurds little monsters with goggles, and the yellow chicks on the second story. Even the pink macaco that constantly show you his ass has appears on Hard Head 2.
I guess if an article or update about Had Head is necessary at this point.

I can't figure out what the songs are in this game. World 6 song was said to be "Popcorn", and I think world 4 is "Camptown Races". I am most interested in the world 5 song. At least two other games use similar music, so it must have a classical source.

Holy crap, this thread is old. This thread is "Smithee" old. Ah, good times... good times.
...I don't really have anything else to say, except... whatever happened to the guy who wrote these? I remember he wrote some Bloodstorm article that went off on some tangent on the Contra guys being gay for each other, then he kind of disappeared.
