Woo, 11-year necrobump! I was thinking about this article and it occurs to me that I ought to mention for posterity the extraordinarily nice-looking remake of the Datasoft version by "Sloth Team", released in 2010. computeremuzone.com/ficha.php?id=810&l=en&sec=remakesI love that they use the instrumental track from the movie.

Just throwing this out there, but I feel like very lucky to have seen Goonies as a kid since it never played on any of the TV networks I had, I just happened to stumble upon the VHS in a video store one day and my mom recommended it to me and I was also the perfect age for it too, I was pretty young but not so young that can't still distinctly remember the first time I saw it even though I think that was 1996. (I would have been 6 or 7)
