hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/crackdown/crackdown.htmThe third and final Sega arcade game article, in no way related to the recent-ish 360 game. It's an overhead action game that relies heavily on co-op, a bit similar to Gain Ground. Not a classic, honestly, but it's still kinda a cool game.

I hope that whoever came up with the names Ben Breaker and Andy Attacker got a promotion. Maybe if he had been put in charge of the company we'd all be playing Shenmue 5 on the Dreamcast 2 by now.

Really, what in God's green hell is with that freaky cyber-goatman demon?! It's equally as inexplicable, if not even more so, than the final "boss" of Ikari Warriors! It's also veritable nightmare fuel for its face to be blown away and its skull to be revealed beneath... but why? It's just... I... have no freaking idea, so I won't attempt to guess it. :x
I have played this game, though, and it's a very underrated title.

I remember this. First level's music is still stuck in my head.
I thought it was pretty easy.

Bet he'd be right at home in Shadowrun or the Megaten series.

It's too bad you didn't get to fight it; those annoying Phantasm balls with the impeccable aim were a pretty lame final boss. Otherwise, I liked it a lot, and the music was pretty good.

Aren't the C64 and Amstrad screenshots at the end mixed up? Looks awfully hi-res for a C64 game.
