Unless there's some dude in Japan that goes around raping robots that I don't know about. Hah, that would almost be as awesome as the nerd who threatened to blow up Hudson's offices. Anyway, gender doesn't really matter with these fetishes. If a girl had a room completely covered in naked anime lolitas, she'd be just as creepy as these guys, except she'd be a creepy lesbian rather than a creepy straight guy. Or if you want to flip it completely around, girls out there that are really obsessed with yaoi are plenty creepy too. I'd like to hope that any guy that would walk into a yaoi room equivalent to these would run for the hills too. :P

One time in class I said I was an electrosexual and that I dug robots, and from time to time, appliances. Haha, it was a joke, but I almost got sent to counseling.
There is also a running joke within my gang of pals that I like robots. Like, like-like. Haha, it started with Courtney Gears from Ratchet...
Maybe I should be worried!

It's much like the difference between a fan and a nerd - wear a football shirt and you're a dedicated supporter, wear a Star Trek shirt and you obviously lack social skills and appropriate genitalia. GAH! My genitalia! The day I have to move to a new apartment is when I'm royally *blowhorn*.

Hahaha, my mom actually wore a Star Trek shirt to the premier of the new movie. Not just any shirt, either, but one that was actually worn by Leonard Nimoy on the original show and signed in marker by him. Edit: She also brought her Tricorder and phasers.

Hey, I wasn't saying that's what I thought, just that seems to be how people are perceived - two people doing the same thing a viewed differently depending on whatever subject they chose to be passionate about :3

Oh, yeah! I agree and thought that's what you meant, I just thought it was funny to mention how big a geek my mom is for Star Trek

Yikes. That actually scares me, rather than amazes me.

Same here. This isn't amazing; it's kind of sad.

Yeah, except he'd have no shot whatsoever.
... which I guess would be no different from the norm anyway. :P

Lol the only nerdy thing I have in my house (besides the vidjas) is a lil ZGMF-X10A Freedom. I don't even have posters on walls or anything like that, but that little Gundam was enough to my mom burst on laughter and my father make that "I am disappoint" face the first time they saw it. And everytime I bring a girl over I have to hide it. I should've never bought it

The only thing I got on my walls is a laminated poster of the movie Goodfellas. And on my door 2 mini posters from South Park and Bubblegum Crisis, now wouldn't that make an awesome crossover?

I've never been big on the idea of a whole ton of anything up on my walls. I think less is more. I have a bunch of posters that I'd like to have up someday, but not until I move and have more space to spread stuff out. Right now all I have up is a Zelda poster from Nintendo Power back when they were promoting Ocarina of Time, a Lain wallscroll (not because I'm that into Lain but just because it's a nice subdued picture), a few boxed figures (some goofy Bruce Lee ones and Silmeria from my Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria Artifact Box), a calendar with cute kittens and puppies, a squirrel crossing sign (haha), and a scarf from Germany that's so batshit insane and gaudy that it's gotta be up (it's like... a Picasso style picture of a one-eyed bull flying through Rome or something, in the most bizarre assortment of colors).

I actually can't stand empty space on my walls. My old room back in California literally had something on every square inch of it. Posters, ads, drawings, magazine cutouts, printouts, you name it. Sadly, I haven't been able to obtain much here in Arizona and it annoys the hell out of me.

..and I kinda feel sad here 'cause my room is a piece of crap with empty white walls and only a calendar from the latest Need For Speed game hanging. Maybe I should decorate it a little.
