I think a very memorable part in Shenmue II was the first time you went to the "come over guest house" and the guy at the counter looked hideously evil.

I stumbled across this today: shenmue.planets.gamespy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=767059I lurked at these forums for awhile for research. I think it's interesting what the really hardcore fans have to say about some of the articles here, if only because it's really funny to see how outraged some of them get. Even though I added a lot to this article myself, I really liked the way the original author had positioned the game - that's really incredible and has a lot of cool stuff - but the controls are awful, and a lot of it just ends up being boring. That's the kind of perfect balance that really sets it apart from being merely a gush piece. But they're complaining it about being too negative and critical.

I've started to realize everywhere but our forums is really a hive of scum and villainy. I mean it's like they are total fanboys but can't see it. They call the review amateurish but they do nothing but defend every aspect of the game. They should know by now that no game is perfect no matter how good it is. They should realize the flaws but still like the game.

That reminds me of a GFW podcast from a couple of weeks ago where the editors were having some argument with Fallout fans over Fallout 4. Fools trying to argue that a turn based strategy game was more realistic than any action game like an FPS, and that no one can possibly do justice to Fallout.
Hey, my stance is that if you piss these idiots off, you must be doing something right. Keep on doing what you're doing!

Halfway funded in about 2 hours.
Might be the highest funded Kickstarter game ever.

Almost everyone in the comments in this video completely misunderstood how exactly the Filter show worked.
Diane Mizota said a couple of times about the viewer's voting system that was found on then-G4TechTV's webpage for Filter. I was even in it.
