Get a cat. That'll clear that right up. I have two! They aren't nearly as effective as you might think! Oh sure, they keep mice away, and every now and then a bird gets a nasty surprise, but my cats seem perfectly happy to mostly ignore the spiders.

Admittedly, multiple visits to www.bogleech.com have kinda left me desensitized of spiders. It's kinda comforting to know that aren't nearly as dangerous as popular opinion makes them out to be.

We get boxelder bugs, which come in droves. They cover they outside of our house... I couldn't exist with big spiders in my house. I have debilitating Arachnophobia. I can't even see pictures of them....

Although there have also been times where he'll just stare blankly at bugs and not do anything. So go figure. Also, hopefully they're not like this. Their legspan is apparently 5 1/2 inches: EDIT: Alright, alright. I decided not to scare klaid and put spoiler tags around the picture.

He shouldn't watch "The Beyond", ever.
The concept of spider fangs piercing my flesh is what bothers me the most about them. I have held tarantulas though, they're kind of cute and cuddly (although fragile...apparently if you drop them they die painfully).

Funny you bring that up. Reddit and people that use it are among the things that piss me off. I'm glad that one troll got outed though...For once a journalist actually used their powers for good...

Well, thank you Orbus. It really is awful. It'd have been pretty fun screaming at work about spiders.... Although if I may go to the OT. Spiders in Video Games piss me off! It's not terribly cathartic killing them for my phobia and Skyrim's opening was...more difficult for me then others. The HD generation has it's downsides.... Also, there was some MMO I played where the Dark Elf mount was a spider. I believe it was Vangaurd, but needless to say I travelled on foot.

Don't play Dark Souls then, one of the bosses is a giant spider woman.

Don't play Dark Souls then, one of the bosses is a giant spider woman. That's not so bad usually. It's the "faces" that get me the worst. Something about WoW makes them ignorable. Several other games as well, but when they get the more realistic faces... I play D&D so for an analogy Driders don't bug me... Ettercaps do. I also have the Dark Souls and the guide. I remember seeing her. Thanks though Ike!

www.souvlakihut.com/10 dollars for two pita with gyros? While they cost 2 euros each (2,5 canadian dollars) or less in Greece? That's rip-off! And why the hell are they called sandwiches? Is the owner from Thesalloniki? Please tell me that souvlaki restaurants in Canada and USA are not as expensive as SouvlakiHut.

That's pretty typical. In fact, the average place in NYC charges more than that. They're often referred to as sandwiches in the US, yeah. Usually a menu will offer a "gyro platter" and a "gyro sandwich". There are a lot of differences. It's really rare to find a place that puts fries in the pita in the US, and pork is pretty uncommon. When most Americans hear "gyro", they think the lamb and beef mixture. Most places don't stack up the slices of meat either. They buy premade loaves where all the meat is finely ground and pressed into a cylinder.

Re-post from a different thread about pita being called sandwich: vetus.deviantart.com/art/This-is-not-a-sadwich-327414619It's ok for foreigners to call them sandwiches (heck, it's even ok to call tzatziki as yogurt sauce) but not for greeks. That's pretty typical. In fact, the average place in NYC charges more than that. Why do ethnic restaurants all over the world charge so much even for cheap food? Just like in some japanese restaurants in Greece where they charge 10 euros and over for a little bottle of sake even if it's cheap sake you can buy at convenience stores. It's really rare to find a place that puts fries in the pita in the US... Actually there are some places in Greece where fries are not standard and you have to ask from them to add fries (they don't charge you extra for that, thank Godness). And in some other places the standard pita is not with tzatziki but with ketchup and mustard. That's why every time I order pita I tell them by detail how exactly I want my pita. In other news, some other shit that pisses me off: Greece's situation is already shitty enough, we don't need fasist organizations to make it worse. Even if their supporters are minority it's paranoia that Golden Dawn is legal and being used by greek goverment and police. I don't know if it's the same shit with fasist organizations and political parties in other countries too so I would like from you to enlight me.
