Burai Fighter Deluxe (for GameBoy) is a decent port of the NES game. Everything works fine, it just gets boring after a couple of stages because of the downgraded visuals. Burai Fighter Deluxe Color (for GameBoy Color) it's the same game but colored.

My 3rd email:
"Thanks for all the info Ken! If you don't mind, some people have asked me to ask you a few other questions. Here they are: 1) "Ask him if he knows anything about the Burai Fighter arcade game." 2) "What I want to know is about the Goldeneye SNES game, if he knew anything about that." 3) "What exactly did he do on Namco, with Splatterhouse specifically?" Thanks again for taking the time to reply."
His reply:
"No Burai arcade. There was some early work, but it never went further. There is a GBC version (Space Marauder).
GE was never a SNES game. The license came right at the time when N64 early work was starting at Nintendo and Rare. It was basically straight to N64.
Producer at Namco. On Splat, just a lot of balance work. I had some impact on the design for Splat 3, and balance/level work and scripting for Rolling Thunder 2 (look at the text… there is KAL in there somewhere;)). "

Was Ken Lobb involved with G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor and Crazyland too? What about other KID games for the NES?

Atlantis Factor yes, Crazyland, he didn't mention.
If by involved you mean part of a game's staff, then as far as I know there was only Burai Fighter, Low G Man, GI Joe 1 & 2 and Kickmaster. But since he worked at Taxan, he probably was indirectly involved in most of their titles.

No Burai arcade. There was some early work, but it never went further. There is a GBC version (Space Marauder). It must have gone further if there's a board out there, and someone's recorded the music off of it. Thanks for asking these questions. I have a couple I'll throw out there. If you don't want to ask, that's fine. - How were many people were at Taxan USA? - According to my research, a company called Now Production did Splatterhouse 2 and 3. Does he know anything about that? He probably doesn't.

Yeah, but Taxan went out of business before those games got published, so they could've been Taxan project that got published by other companies like Kick Master. At least I know Crazyland was supposed to come out in the US (it only came out in the PAL region as a Troll game).

I assume you mean "out of the game business" since Taxan (and Naxat, albeit under a different name) is, in fact, still in business.

I'll ask him those questions on the next email smsgenny.
He already confirmed working on Atlantis Factor:
"We started working with Kid with Burai, and then contracted them to do Low G, then GI Joe, then Kick Master, then GI Joe 2"
"As with Kick Master, GI Joe 2 was about ¾ done when Taxan went away, and was then picked up by Capcom. I wasn’t able to help finish it, but I had a lot of early influence"
As for that Burai arcade? Maybe another team/company was doing it?
Usually there were different teams making games Nes or Arcade versions.
