We've all heard (and some have seen) the famous NES Golgo 13 Top Secret Episode scene where Golgo gets it on with a girl (named Cherry). Well, in the Japanese version of Golgo 13, the girl actually takes her clothes off!  |

Okay, bad pun, but I had to run with it. That said, the only censorship I was familiar with was the Naz/DREK, Smirk/Hitler change over. Given how it's a Golgo 13 game and the implied but not shown sex in the NES version, I'm not surprised it went this far in the Famicom version in a way, but I'm still surprised to see it in a Nintendo game too.

I'm no translator but... "Berlin at night... an Iron Curtain just doesn't seem right..." "A ceremony for two.. Adults go ahead, children press B!" PS I love this game, it was one of the first games I bought for the NES when I was a kid, mostly because of the tiny bit of coverage it got in some issue of Nintendo Power. The soundtrack is great, especially the tracks that play when you enter buildings. |
