Ah, you don't know just how good it is! I've always liked Tintin, and apart from that and Asterix. I remember watching cartoons based on Tintin when I was a kid, and later Asterix-based cartoons. Both are just plain awesome!

You guy's need to read some real manga Shonen jump's a little weak try these: Blade of the Imortal Vagabond Fist of the North Star Battle Royale Death Note Blue Spring Trigun Maximum Get Backers Project Arm's Monster I haven't read most of what's on this list (but I'll be hunting!) but I really disagree with putting Battle Royale up there. Mostly because I've already read the novel it's based on, and I pretty much think anyone interested in the story should just go with that. It's a damn awesome book. I've read the book as well and I agree that it's awesome, but you should check out the Manga as well it's story and dialouge were even written by the Author of the book. The manga follows the book very closely except at a few point's but I think for the most part it was changed for the better. If I had to put the BR versions in order from best to worse it would be. 1.Battle Royale Manga 2.BR Novel 3.BR Movie(Which I found disapointing) Also the list of manga I wrote I should have been listed best to worst so it's easier to find the best for your money I'll do that now.

Ugh. I don't watch much of any anime anymore because it's difficult to find a show where a cat-thing isn't screaming and/or distorting its face. This is part of why I don't want to visit Japan.
On the other hand, I like some of the more serious shows such as Paranoia Agent and... there was this other one featuring a girl named "Kino" and her talking motorcycle. Can't recall that one's name at the moment.

Oh god, I hated the Battle Royale movie. I don't even know why that thing is considered such a classic. I can stand the low-calibur special effects, but the story was barely there, and the characters didn't make sense... I mean, that girl (Mitsuko I believe her name was... the evil girl) pushed a pedophile down the stairs when she was nine, and that caused her not to trust people? What?! (Her story in the book makes a LOT more sense, but it would've been illegal to film that).

Yeah I wouldn't imigine all the Sex in the Battal Royal Manga would transistion well into film
back on topic I persoanlly LOVE Naruto. It doesn't really drag things on forever like Dragon Ball did. and the fights are 1000000x more intense

Yeah, about Dragon Ball Bleach Naruto:
Are they still on Namek?
Are they still in Soul Society? Are they still on filler?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ;D ;D ;D Necro, I exalt you for hilarity and why I just can't get into anime. I want things to move at a brisk pace, and when it takes ages to conclude something as normally exciting as a fight, it becomes a real snoozefest.

Seriously, there's plenty of anime that start and resolve their plotlines in less than 100 episodes. Sometimes, less than 30, less than 15. Hell, I've seen them begin and end in less than 5. Usually, if an anime lasts 100 episodes or more, that means there's a drawn-out fight or twenty. The only exceptions I'm aware of are Ranma 1/2 and Lupin III, in which for the most part each episode is a self-contained story.

The best anime that I've seen so far are 26 episodes or less.

I actually decided to read a bit (via Wikipedia, where you can read about anything be it relevant or otherwise) and there's some rather interesting concepts and ideas in there. I'd much rather spend a few minutes to read about it than hours watching a show (or even reading translated mangas), however...

Anyone that doesn't like naruto Probably doesn't like it because of the Filler, but it's got some pretty good violence and VA's for a 4kids show.
Plus I would just read the manga, because it's way better

I thought 4Kids couldn't get their hands on Naruto...
