Just read the Rolling Thunder article. I think its great this series gets some recognition, but I want to point one thing. The Lynx version was never actually released. I believed there was a screenshot While not part of the series, there was also an arcade game called "The Outfoxies" that plays like a fighting game version of Rolling Thunder. I might decide to do a write-up. namgame.hp.infoseek.co.jp/of.html

Nah, The Outfoxies is basically a Meele game that happens to look a bit like RT. Think Smash Brothers with bigger levels.
Another RT rip off is City Hunter for the PC Engine.

And maybe the terrible Super Famicom "Appleseed".

The platform levels in Atari's Thunderjaws look and play like Rolling Thunder, only they're less playable...

Is it just me, or do the yellow soldiers in Time Crisis 3 resemble Rolling Thunder 2's? I noticed this when I bought Time Crisis 3 a few years ago, but I don't think I have shared it here. Not that it's a big discovery, but more like curious, useless trivia. Unless, of course, there's some correlation between the story of both games. I looked on wikipedia and nothing. Anybody knows anything?

I never noticed that before you mentioned it but that's pretty cool and clever of Namco.

Interesting catch. I wouldn't put it past Namco to do something silly like that, considering there's a bike in Katamari Damacy that the game calls Rolling Thunder when you pick it up.
