FUCKING NOSTALGIA ATTACK
In all seriousness, the Cruis'n series were my favorite as a kid alongside the many Sega racing games. Again, I love me some Midway racing games. Shame that the Wii game was awful (from what I heard)

Shatterhand is one of my favourite NES games - some of the best graphics and music on the system and it hardly ever gets any love. So here's my favourite track from Shatterhand

Shatterhand is awesome! While we're at it I need to post this from another underrated NES game. Composed by the same woman who did Castlevania; The part from 0:33-ish and onward is especially great

I didn't know where to ask this so I chose this thread. I've been trying to find a song I heard a while back that was like a 6-minute long medley of all the temple songs from Ocarina of Time (Minuet of Forest, Serenade of Water, etc.) and I can't seem to find it on youtube or OCRemix. I don't really remember where it came from, and it might just be an official arrangement from somewhere. Anyone know about it?

One of my favorites.
A well-used YM2151 is a beautiful thing.
so is a well-used YM2203.

Didn't know where else to put it, but it's VGM related, so I felt it should go here.
A friend of mine got annoyed at me last weekend (and actually yelled "FUCK YOU") because I recognized the Stage 2 music from Journey to Silius (which he had on his smartphone) within 3 notes.

Why would that annoy him? If a friend can recognize a VGM track he's playing, I'd think he'd be happy. Unless of course I'm misunderstanding this entirely and the "FUCK YOU" was a joke. (In which case, I am once again embarrassed and will casually walk away.) EDIT: I feel silly posting here for the first time and not even bothering to add to the list of tracks.

This song alone always makes me want to be part of the Nanman forces. It's so catchy!

The second section of the song sounds like the theme to Sonic 2006 being played on the Konami TMNT (and ReBirth games') orchestra hit voice. And it works. Somehow.

The song "Pursuit", only one of the many fantastic songs from Okhotsk ni Kiyu. It's a shame it's so unknown to those outside of (and even inside of, actually) Japan, as it's one of the finest NES songs I've ever heard. Really makes you feel like you've got to find a murderer, and you're running out of time!

When it comes to kickass videogame theme nothing beats Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja Second Stage Theme. And I don't take "No" for an answer. I'm bad! And in second place goes this epic battle theme of the Grandia that makes everyone who listen to it feel like the king of the world who can pierce the sky with their sword. Prepare yourself - this is it! Hwaaa!

Speaking of Data East awesomeness...
One of the reasons I absolutely love Heavy Barrel.

Easily the best remix of Mega Man 2's Wily Stage 1 I've heard.
