I intend to post all new info I receive about the new Splatterhouse game in this thread from this point out. For starters, there are new screenshots and news about the Splatterhouse Twitter page (they're promising giveaways and "real fun" once they hit 666 followers): splatterhouse.kontek.net/new.html

That shit looks good, but boy is it taking people forever to do this game lol! Eh just messing around, good on you boys.
I see a clown there, are there any clown chicks? Any normal chicks turning into clown chicks?
B/c that shit would be hot.

@ destroyman - No clown chicks (etc.) that I'm aware of, but you never know.
@ mazinsaga - I was told a while back that each character was getting a redesign, some large, some small. I believe Rick was no exception, and has now been more correctly proportioned.
@ munchy - Yeah, that's awesome. I still wonder if a new version of HC is going to make an appearance.
@ Kenshiro - That shows exactly how much NB has been listening to input from the fans. One of the biggest complaints originally was that the monsters were too clean, and I relayed those complaints (along with a bunch of others) directly to NB. What you're seeing in those screenshots is the direct result of our suggestions.

I've been looking forward to this ever since I played the original some months ago (I unfortunately didn't play the games till recently) and learned they were doing a remake. New screenshots look brutal and awesome.

A new article has surfaced in PlayStation Magazine, confirming (among other things) the inclusion of the arcade original and 2 & 3 as unlockables - not DLC, not exclusive preorder bonuses, but genuine play-the-game-meet-the-criteria unlockables. Check it out here: z4.invisionfree.com/The_Third_Moon/index.php?showtopic=9765

I will never understand why Tecmo took the NES trilogy games out of Ninja Gaiden Black; glad to see someone play on that idea.

Because Tecmo likes to thrive on bad decisions like having Radia Senki which was on its way to the US as Tower of Radia stay on Japan, while they let shit like Secret of the Stars make it to our SNES late into its lifetime. They also like to make crap like the Dead or Alive game with all the fan service and volleyball, rather than find ways to improve the games that matter. They used to be neat back then when they even made Captain Tsubasa games Yeah Tecmo are weird they give Europe all those crap Dead Or Alive spin off games but never gave us any of the Monster Rancher games except 2 on Ps1 that I would want to play. The Monster Rancher Anime series was also popular in Europe making it more confusing. Bandai do exactly the same thing with the Digimon series as well though:(.

More info: the official site is back up, and Gametrailers TV will have the world exclusive premier of the new trailer tonight at 12:30 am. I know what I'll be doing as soon as I get off work. Also: Splatterhouse will be sponsoring the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival XII on April 23 & 24 in Worcester MA. If anyone here's going to it that Saturday, feel like swinging by CT. and picking me up? I'd be glad to pitch in gas money.

I have to say, this is looking even better than the old version. Listening to the soundtrack on their webpage and it is wicked awesome. Can't wait for this game.

I'm confused... if the trailer's up on 12:30 AM of the 16th, shouldn't it be up now?
