So I just read this silver age Green Lantern story, it was about the events which led Abin Sur to crashing on Earth.
The plot involved these meteors which went around stealing the "I-Factor" from humanoid races. The I-Factor apparently being the stuff that makes society capable of evolving from cave to medieval to modern etc (one planet that had them drained was forever stuck in a medieval-like environment).
... So now I'm wondering if the DC Universe ever made use of this concept (like seeing what would happen if tons of I-Factor were put into one person... I mean, I guess that could be Batman, but still). Part of me is thinking that this is another awesome concept that got ignored/retconned away in favor of something more boring, like comics seem to love to do.

So I was watching Linkara recently and learned about the Boom Studios Darkwing Duck (he reviewed the first four issues).
One thing he mentioned was that there's a graphic novel compilation (called Darkwing Duck: The Definitively Dangerous Edition)... which contains rewrites (some major, some minor), but that particular GN is now like $250 second-hand.
If anyone here has that book, please scan it in. It appears even the kind of sites that have digital comics only have the original issues, not the GN version.

The Joker has always been a dumb one-note character who had the incredible luck of being written by some very good writers and portrayed by excellent actors and voice actors. Change my mind.
