You know, people will crucify for saying this but I really think Mega Man X was the best of the SNES series.

I liked the story in 2, but they really screwed things up with the music and the charge sound effects.

No I agree actually. I'm not a big fan of the X games at all (and I HATE MMX3) yet I think MMX on the SNES is one of the best games ever made.

You know, people will crucify for saying this but I really think Mega Man X was the best of the SNES series. I thought that was common knowledge. The X series is weird. The only game in the series that's really outstanding is the first one. Sure, 4 is pretty good but the others are kinda "blah" at best. Also, the rampant fanboyism surrounding the X games is just sickening.

I can understand the fanboyism of X 1-3, but the Playstation games went downhill. The rampant fanboysim of ZERO is sickening, however.

I just freaking love the classic games (including the Game Boy ones), I like the X series (thinking that it started out great, then just became okay with each new installment), and I think that Mega Man Legends is underrated (even though I've never played MML2, or the Misadventures of Tron Bonne for that matter). However, WHAT THE F IS THE DEAL WITH THE BATTLE NETWORK SERIES??!??

However, WHAT THE F IS THE DEAL WITH THE BATTLE NETWORK SERIES??!?? Hey, the first one isn't too bad. That's the only one I've played though.

I actually like the Battle Network series. There's usually an argument as to wheter 2 or 3 is the best. 4 and 5 are just crap. And the newest one is pretty good because of the cross system.

I forgot to mention that I have a rather tasty SNES related item in my possession- someone surely must be jealous that I have a translated Seiken Densetsu 3 cartridge? It has a nicely done label on it and everything and the battery back-up works fine. Cost me an arm and a leg too- yeah I was probably ripped off, but the temptation to play that game on the actual SNES itself was much, much too great

I remember looking at previews for Seiken Denesetu 3 in magazines and realize that I would never be able to play it on my SNES. Then I'd get sad : ( : ( : (

Then I'd get sad : ( : ( : ( See I was heartbroken myself when it was first anounced Secret of Mana 2 (as I knew it then) was to never be given a translation I remember when I found out the rom had been translated I was ecstatic but I dunno, I just never can muster much enthusiasm for playing emulated games, I much prefer playing it on the actual system as it was intended So, I stumbled across this cart being sold on ebay and I just thought the younger me wouldnt forgive me if I didn't buy it, so that I did. I've only played through it with one set of characters but one day I'll play through the game with the others! If your ever in Ireland you can pop over for a 2 player on it though hehe

I got sick of Mortal Kombat after the 3 edition. It was just the same thing over and over again, except with stupid "Babalities" and "Animalities." Meh.
