Seiken Densetsu 3 was the greatest birthday present I ever received. What was it like playing through it in Japanese? I managed to get through Oath Of Felghana easy enough but it was more of a no brainer than SD3

There was a lot of trial and error, I actually never beat the cartridge itself. Got maybe halfway through with Duran, but he only got one attack per "charge" which was a pain so I started over with the rogue type character (Hawk? Hawkeye? I forget which). Gorgeous game though and great music too. I'd say it, Chrono Trigger and Demon's Crest are the three most beautiful games on the system.

I forgot to mention that I have a rather tasty SNES related item in my possession- someone surely must be jealous that I have a translated Seiken Densetsu 3 cartridge? It has a nicely done label on it and everything and the battery back-up works fine. Cost me an arm and a leg too- yeah I was probably ripped off, but the temptation to play that game on the actual SNES itself was much, much too great I want it too Seiken Densetsu 3 is my favorite action RPG

homepage.ntlworld.com/general_megatron_bison/Secret%20of%20Mana%202.jpgThats what it looks like anyways- the guy sent me a translated .pdf file of the games booklet- it was fairly well done, maybe could have been sized better but I would love to get a proper glossy print out done some day and maybe knock up a box lol Still though, I would say the game is one of the best action rpg's ever and yeah, for sure one of the most beautiful SNES games ever
