Here I am, whoring out stuff I've done for other websites: www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3149278&did=1So far, approximately 8% of people hated it enough to not recommend it! Will you be next? Also, like a week after I submitted this, I COMPLETELY forgot about the Labrynth Famicom game, probably because I can't remotely spell the word Labrynth for the life of me. I guess I'll try to play it and make a note of it somewhere.

I've never heard of over half of those games. A lot of time and research must have gone into putting this together. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, though, since that's the feeling I get from most HG101 articles.

Heh, I remember playing the Transfomers game on the C64. At the time, I never knew what to do. Though I don't remember being able to fly in vehicle form, though I remember the autobots could fly in robot form. Maybe I just never thought to try.

I had the Spectrum version of that Transformers game... As a kid I loved it, but then again I also thought Barbarian 2 was awesome back then :\

I saw a recording of the whole Sinclair Spectrum Transformers game over there at the RZX Archive and it gave me headaches.

Pretty nice article, but I thought the Simpsons section could have been expanded a bit. Nearly the entire series sucks, but the arcade game is widely considered to be the best of the series and a damn fine beat em up.

The Goonies game on the 64...nice idea, ridicolously unbalanced gameplay;the last level is extremely easy, while the first was frustratingly difficult! The Thundercats videogame is just plain bad...it's Rygar, only harder and duller.

I agree, although 1up has a word limit that I was already over by that point. Plus, like you said, most of them are wastes of time except for the arcade version and Hit and Run. Also, it's still pretty popular these days, so I didn't want to devote too much space to it compared to the others. Ditto TMNT. I didn't even know most of these games existed, either. I was familiar with the TMNT and Simpsons stuff, and I knew GI Joe and Transformers games existed, but not to this extent, until I started researching them. I didn't even think there were any He-Mans games at all.

Konami is churning out too many bad games recently. Too many CRAP Yugioh and sport games and they completely killed the TMNT series with those new games. If they would have made a new TMTN just like the old arcade versions everyone would have been happy.

Ahhh, I figured there was a limit. Makes sense now.

Haven't played much of the Atlantis Factor, but it does not seem to be up to par with the original. Funny how Capcom is a MUCH bigger name in video games than Taxan (who hasn't exactly had the best track record of titles... 8 Eyes, anybody?) and yet, their G.I. Joe game blew chunks in comparison to Taxan's!
Oh, and a l'il off topic here, but in response to Rey, lemme say that I STILL DON'T GET YUGIOH. They're dragging Konami down, I tell ya. I will admit that their game quality hasn't been as prominent over the last few years, but they're still one of my... nay, my absolute favorite freaking company of all time! And they used to make excellent sports games back in the day, such as Blades of Steel, Double Dribble, and... need I bring up Base Wars? ;D
