Hehe Kurt, Jeremy almost had an orgasm with your MegaTen article "By the way, I'm pretty sure the Megami Tensei piece is the nicest-looking feature we've ever published on 1UP. The content's good, too, but man... that design is hott. Yes, that's so hot it has to be spelled with two Ts." toastyfrog.1up.com/I'm glad you got the gig, you seem to be one of their best feature writers and a Parish favorite

After reading the article I just kept grinning with some of the stuff there.
"sizable portion of the global population that believes in Him." Capital H, hehe.
"he faces off against God himself, YHVH -- also commonly known as Yahweh" Wow, finally someone that knows the real name.
"It's presumably OK for parents to see their kids commanding cute little creatures like Pikachu and Charizard. But when they're sending Ukobach, the demon who takes care of hell's furnace, to fight against Gabriel, the archangel who informed the Virgin Mary that she was with child -- well, that's an entirely different story. " haha
"In some areas of the United States, people see so much as a pentagram and scream "Heathen!"

Listen, you could start selling the best sex of the world in a can and there's still gonna be people who will hate it.

If you can put that in a can I would buy it and more than that I would market it to people worldwide.
Seriously, though, there are always detractors for everything good in this world. Kurt's articles are always the result of long laborious processes, but they are always, IMHO, top notch.

We all have our different opinions of what's awesome and what isn't so very good. I thought that the first Mortal Kombat movie was pretty damn good when I first saw it. Twasn't perfect, sure (Christopher Lambert does not a good Raiden make), but it was much better than I expected it to be. And yet, some people are turned off by the not-so-complex plot and sometimes cheesy CGI. I could rub my butt in their face and rant about the Johnny Cage vs. Scorpion battle with excruciating detail, but why bother? There are just going to be people that won't like it, and that's the way it shall be. ... I think I lost my point two sentences ago, but not everybody agrees what's greatest, and that's okay. However, I believe that Kurt's writings are fair, just, and really entertaining to read most of the time. He has confessed to being a bit stuck-up at times, but aren't we all in some variety?

*gasps* A whole two people hated the article and didn't recommend it! A FAILURE IS ME Jeremy is right, it does look really cool. 1up has some great graphics guys. Looking back though, there are few boneheaded errors on my part (only the first character in SMT is really introduced on a crucifix, although other characters are strung up in similar fashions throughout the game), and you fight The Creator at the end of FF Legend 1 not 2. Thanks again for the heads-up on that Rey.
