This game... is one gigantic WTF to me. The only thing that's obvious is that it's a game about Sumo Wrestling. Only released in Japan (obviously) for the Genesis, I have NO idea what's going on... but it's strangly captivating. Usually, I just win half the time by mashing all buttons like I'm on PCP.
Can anybody say anything about Harimanada here? What's going on? Is it based off of some anime? Is it well-known in Japan? And how the fung do you play it?!

Maybe it's just a normal sports game? I mean, Sumo Wrestling is a tradional japanese sport, I'd be suprirsed if they didn't have lots of Sumo games that never get released here. (A technical Sumo game would be boring, even though Sumo Wrestling itself is awesome)

www.animenfo.com/animetitle,2186,vosnni,ah_harimanada.html Guess it's an anime (stupid board, you'll need to cut and paste that) From what I can figure out, A is a light slap, B is a weak slap, and C does some kind of weird grapple that doesn't always seem to work. In the midst of grappling you can change positions (somehow). That's about all I can figure out. By far the best rendition of fat, sweaty men on the Mega Drive.
