Actually, I can understand your point. There really wasn't much from Sony or Microsoft. Nintendo, on the other hand, holy crap. So many games I want. E3 was all about Nintendo this year.

It's so freakin' awesome that you got to play Valkyrie Profile 2, Kurt. What I would give to have that opportunity. o_o Ah well, there's only about a month until I get my copy in the uber-expensive Artifact Box that I pre-ordered. Unfortunately, due to summer vacation plans, it may be weeks after that before I actually get to play it. :( I may end up just playing the first Valkyrie Profile during the initial craziness of VP2's release since I have a file to finish up. I was playing it around January, but I just had to drop it because of the demands of school. :/
Oh, would you mind if I shared your impressions on the GameFAQs VP2 board? I don't think anybody there was at E3, so nobody has a clue what it's like to actually play it.

Ain't that the truth. I don't really know of anything important coming out of Microsoft's mouth at E3, and Sony just had its high prices and a MGS4 trailer. Weak weak weak. Even things I was really hoping to get more info about didn't even seem to be touched on (SENGOKU MUSOU 2 US RELEASE DATE, TALES OF THE ABYSS US RELEASE DATE!)...

However, I'm really depressed about the news from Super Smash Bros. Brawl that it will not be a launch title anymore. That still won't stop me from picking it up, seeing how their games have certainly sparked my interest (namely Project H.A.M.M.E.R., Trauma Center 2, and Metal Slug Anthology with a side note that I will probably never pick up a PSP). And PS3 being $499-$599?! Good lord, my first car was cheaper than that and it's more practical (and I still own)!

Rather irritatingly it seems as though the only thing people are taking seriously in the UK, even after this years E3 is the PS3... The Nintendo Wii has been spoken of as a joke by most since that fateful name change :\

I can't imagine why, Europe always gets the shaft when it comes to hardware/software pricing. With the non-retard version of the PS3 being $600 USD I'm afraid to see what the adjusted cost will be for Europe.

Havent really heard much about too human. Supposedly it's like Gears of War in that it's great in every way except the framerate being horrible. Gears of War's framerate was fixed up by the time E3 happened though whereas Too Human is said to still be pretty rough. I hope they fix that as it seems like it will be my favorite 360 game to come out this year next to Gears of War itself.

Yeah I do fear the announcement of the price tbh...I know I will have to pick one up eventually for MGS4 alone so lord only knows what the price will end up like. We get shafted enough over here with cd and game prices and the 360 alone has brought game prices to a whole new level of badness...

Yeah one of my friends there said at one point he could import a 360 from the US along with two games and still be paying less than what a 360 costs in store there.

Yeah that isn't too surprising, I pre-ordered a DS from Japan, and even after a customs charge and getting a game with it I payed less than I would have for the machine alone in the stores over here at launch :\

That is total craziness. I don't understand how any of the hardware/software companies that aren't based in Europe can possibly make money there (except PC games I guess since there's no real licensing fee). Is it just not feasible for them to have divisions in Europe that actually manufacture the stuff there? Not enough space left?
