Just announced. Here's the trailer. gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=2688Happy day! Oops, just saw the other topic that mentioned it...still, I'll leave this up, just because Phoenix deserves a topic all his own.

I take it like the first DS title its just a remake of the second GBA title?

Yay! I will finally be rewarded for my inability to understand Japanese!

Aparently it's a remake of the second one, which is cool for me. I now <3 my DS even more.

Suppose that is rather handy- given my inherent lack of Japanese language skills, other than quoting a few lines from videogames :\

YIPPIE-KI-AY WHOOT ZIPANG KICKASS AWESOME-ON-A-HOT-CROSS-BUN!!!!!
I have yet to hear confirmation on an extensive and intriguing fifth case especially designed for the DS version. But even if there won't be, I'm still hyped for this. ;D

I'm still annoyed that I never found a copy of the first game. :/

What about now? As you might know, Capcom shipped more units to stores in March 2006.

I hope they include a text skipping function- I got stuck into the bane of my point and clicky existance in the original- you know, trying to get a response about an item from someone and getting the same (often lengthy and irritating) response from people (Cough up Queen in chapter 5 and the Old Man in chapter 4 being the worst for it!)

Wasn't there one in the first game? After you've completed the game, that is.

What about now? As you might know, Capcom shipped more units to stores in March 2006. Well now I only have enough money for one game, and I'm planning on buying New Super Mario Brothers. Oh the joys of never being rich enough. D:

Perhaps there was one after finishing the game, haven't started a second playthrough yet- but I would like for there to have been one to have skipped those conversation loops the first time around

Usually there is a text skip function after you've already gone through the text the first time. Like, if you ask someone about a certain topic, then ask again about the same thing, you can speed through it by pressing A or tapping the stylus. Some kind of text speed option would be nice though.

What was agrivating was having to start the case over if you screwed up. I fell for that "Insta-Guilty" trap in the last chapter. Incredibly annoying.

I shall BUMP this topic with a comment: Unless I'm extraordinarily daft, I have seen no announcement on the main site of PW2's release. More than likely, many people already know about it by now, but ya never know who might first learn about it from here... and by here, I don't mean the message boards. ;D More than likely, it will be release in early 2007, though nothing is set it stone. Could be earlier. Could (hopefully not) be later. All I know are a few bits and pieces, which are not enough to tide me over, but do give me a rather hazy idea of what could be going on in all the cases. As to exactly what happens or how things happen....... well, I'm awfully tempted to search and blow open some spoilers, but I must stay disciplined. I think I've happened upon at least one significant spoiler in GS3... though, I can't really say for sure. But if it doesn't get localized, thank any deity for the GS3 translation project.
