I plan on doing sprite sheets for every game on the website. First up is popful mail (SCD version) I've got her attacking poses for the sword.
Who wants to help?

How do you do proper sprite ripping? Is it a matter of screen grabbing and then very careful cutting or...?

Just disable the background layers and take the snaps of the character animation and then rip.

Generally depends on the emulator. Some are very helpful, like ZSNES and VisualBoy Advance, while others can turn against you. Then there's always a matter of just digging into the ROM and rummage around inside for sprite data.

Gamecube doesn't have sprites though That's 3d models.

3d games require hacking or screenshot cutting for it's "sprite" work. Perhaps I could be of some assistance mazinsaga, but I have to finish work first.
